Prompt 15: Resisting
The recent time this happened to me was on Thanksgiving weekend in a car ride home. A bed is real comfy for me to sleep in. I resisted an urge to sleep. My eyelids grew heavy, but I fought back.
Ludwig has his battle much longer than mine.
This isn't his room, in case anyone is wondering. This is actually another bedroom in Kamek and Kammy's magic room. It's a private room where you can take a rest from exerting magic. The bed however is special. As soon as you get in the bed, you immediately fall asleep. As for the walls, it's a galaxy setting to soothe one's mind to rest easy. The door blends in so well with the walls it can't be seen.
That would've worked if Ludwig didn't keep struggling to stay awake. His eyelids are blinking rapidly. Who knows how long he'll last?
