Loved the eval video of the packets; thanks for sharing. Can you talk a little bit about what bone means and what it looks like if they have not enough/too much?
Bone is literally about the bones and how thick/solid a dog’s bones appear. Look at the correct dog at top left, then the fine boned dog middle right. The illustrations here aren’t perfect, but it’ll give you an idea.
Seren (top) has better bone than Tyche (bottom).
Now, the term “substance” is a little different because it includes bone, but also width and muscling and overall build.
It’s hard to tell in photos alone, but to me Tyche has overall good substance despite having less bone. She is all muscle, with appropriate width for her size. Seren has adequate width as well, and normal muscling. When you put hands on these pups, you can feel the difference in muscle and strength.
Then there’s Bonnie, who you could say has decent bone for her size, but not a lot of width or overall much substance.
