one time a couple years ago i was antiquing while wearing my sturgeon earrings and this guy tapped me on the shoulder and went ‘are those sturgeon? that’s sick. i catch tons of those up north every year’ and it struck me as odd at the time but i didn’t say anything because i didn’t want to talk to him. but for everyone’s future reference in minnesota you have to get a sturgeon tag on top of your fishing license to be able to catch 1 lake sturgeon per year. so if a fuckass guy in a dick’s sporting goods hat taps you on the shoulder to brag about catching dozens of sturgeon you should report him to the dnr 👍🏻
