also yeah as more time passes i like all the flowers more and more. of course i liked them when i first played, it was just kind of the combined whiplash of the flowers Actually Getting To Be Characters Like We All Thought and Holy shit theyโre humans theyre trying to be humans. that mustve been weird as fuck for kris. but it is pretty fascinating getting to see a little more human vs. monster dichotomy which has been mostlys not touched on in the story so far. i think of susie seeing the human-flowers, and then asking kris โis your type humans or monstersโ and then looking at her like it was the stupidest question ever LOL.
as for flowery specifically, heโs not REALLY my type of character even though i thought he was hilarious from the beginning, but the very end of the game really sold me on him (unsurprisingly) and now i kind of want to draw him just a little. i know thereโs debates around if/how/why flowery is trying to fill every relationship in asgoreโs life Including that of a collegebestfriendlover (rudy) and child (asriel) and i think itโs really funny. itโs broโs first day on earth weโll give him a pass. its my jarona

Somebody asked for English translations of all of the prophecies from the Japanese version of Chapter 4, so, here they are! As a general note, I aimed for the most literal translations possible, but as Japanese does not distinguish present and future tense, I modeled the tenses on the English versions of the prophecies. (Also, as a spoiler, the only prophecy with any really significant differences between the two versions was the prophecy about love.)

Bonus: Unused Prophecies
There are a few prophecies in the game files that are not in the game itself. Considering that a lot of unused text remains untranslated in the Japanese language files, the fact that these prophecies did get translated likely means that they were either cut very late, or that they were intended for people to find in the code.
