Update: Crown Prosecution Service has dropped the case. Hoping this sets a better precedent, and for the freedom of all Sikhs imprisoned for speaking out against the 1980’s-1990’s Sikh genocide.

Just wanted to inform Tumblr of the West Midlands 3 - three Sikh men (UK citizens) who were accused of the 2009 murder of Rulda Singh, an RSS member (coinciding with their 2005-2008 documentation of extrajudicial murders during the 1980’s-1990’s Sikh genocide). UK police cleared the three men in 2010 and even visited Punjab to question other suspects.

India is now demanding their extradition and the UK is complying. The men were arrested again in December 2020 and their extradition hearing is today (22/09/2021).

This could set a precedent for regular extradition attempts to silence Sikh activists.
