I hate leonhard euler. he got his grubby little fingers into every facet of mathmatics. I can't escape him. it seems like every other day i hear about how "oh yeah we know that bc of euler" and it pisses me off. man who is the most perfectest mathematician and oooo look at me im almost indisputably the greatest mathematician ever in all of history shut up euler. i hate you euler.

Reminds me of my analysis prof talking about Terry Tao. He was like, "ugh that man is fucking brilliant, he's relatable because he almost failed grad school because he played too much video games, and he's a great writer and speaker and expositor. The least he could do is be a fucking asshole so you don't feel bad about being jealous of him but no, by all accounts he is also simply a very nice person. Asshole."
