this feels like a lukewarm take but i really love how it’s implied (if not outright stated, i can’t remember) that kevin was made to be so unlikeable in the eyes of the other ravens because if kevin is the bitchy diva then riko is the likable one. riko can be the reasonable one, can act just as annoyed as the rest of them, roll his eyes and act the victim. and having kevin be the “common enemy” gives them all someone to bond over hating yknow

My hopes for TBC:
pre-romance cuddling (with their hearts beating out of their chests of course)

more importantly, JAB ends the book happy as hell (I've read too many books where the dog only exists to die. I will burn the book if that happens)

the Trojans do NOT get a red card (it would ruin everything they stand for)
Elodie is NOT somehow alive (dumbest theory I've seen in a long time)
Jeremy does NOT relapse (he'd literally never forgive himself and he can't take any more guilt right now)
Jean is NOT talked into "loosening up" with drugs or alcohol (he's right. that shit's poison. why do people think healing has to involve poison?*)
*It worked for Neil because his objection to alcohol was the loss of control, and him agreeing to drink was a show of safety and trust. Jean's objections to substances as a whole are health based and from seeing what drinking is doing to Kevin (as well as what cocaine did to Jeremy in the past) and neither of those will change because he's safe now, or because he trusts people. All that shit is still poison and it's still a terrible coping mechanism and if he doesn't want to touch it, he's not only valid but correct
