is it just me or does it feel like PB is embarrassed to write his het smut scenes? vs when he writes any scenes between two guys flirting OR almost sex scenes (that one duke x eph chapter specifically loll).

the fact that there is pet play in Red Rising, more than once, is so funny to me. Like i wouldn't think much of it if it was the same character partaking in it all the time (consensually). Like that would be their quirky lil thing lol. But noooo. Its MULTIPLE characters that pet play is happening to (against their will, grant it, but still alskdjfl PB keeps putting it into his books). Yet, it always tickles my funny bone when i see it happen yet AGAIN in the series. Like okie mr PB. I see what ur into.
