About your last post, actually a lot of the the heartwarming moments in lightbringer are just unnecessary pains for Cassius. The whole being in love with aurae just for it to be unrequited from the start was so useless. All pierce brown did with his character in lightbringer was to pin on him every fault ever and then ship him to his death like god with Jesus Christ so that all sins of mankind could be forgiven. That talk of how he was the boot on lower colors and a whole ass page of apologies for it while I sincerely doubt he was worst than Victra or the telemanuses? + he’s literally the only gold besides virginia that joins darrows side in morning star out of embracement of darrows vision besides personal reasons and lived for 10 years with nothing but a pair of socks so I thought we were past the princeling/colorist apologies. I would get sevro’s snarky remarks or the reputation of ares’ killer following him but his rant was to *darrow* following a promise to aurae?? Useless. But now he’s dead and I bet that the topic will never be touched by another gold or low colors in red god, somehow diomedes will be respected by the republic and by low colors and the fact that it was actually the “heroes” of the republic that lived in full riches for the past 10 years will never be addressed again (screwface the only one speaking the truth and was silenced by one (1) hug from virginia I mean I kinda would do the same but damn)
