Centuries ago, a king and queen ruled a small country. Benevolent and well liked by their people, they feared being overthrown by a larger and more powerful neighboring country with grand ambitions according to intelligence reports. In response, they rapidly sought out magical artifacts and treasures that might allow them to rule forever. Anything, everything, from anywhere they could get their hands on. Unfortunately, they got their wish.

For now they are cursed to roam their decaying castle for eternity. Rooms fell to ruin one by one, now only the great hall remains. For how much longer none can be certain. Though it still holds a stash of magnificent treasures, adventures fear to enter.

This is a webkinz appreciation post!! Specifically in response to @webkinztournament as following it I've noticed that a lot of the "patterned" webkinz are not being shown much love and I wanna change that!!! Look at them! I love them so much! This was a pivotal point in the early to mid 2010s with loud patterns such as these! They were everywhere, not just webkinz! And I'm so here for it! I love you loud and colorful patterns. I love how you embody what you like most. I love you heart valentine webkinz even though there are way too many. I especially love you Spooky Pup. I wish you weren't retired and I had you as a kid you're my favorite look at you absolute masterpiece.

As a 20 year old man, me too. Which is why I am currently making one on a pretty large scale. This series is meant for the folks who miss those days of the Kinztube renaissance.

Pt 2. Frisky’s winter camp

A polular character in our stuffed animal games was Frisky

An agent of chaos and prolific arsonist this cat and his loyal friend Leap have caused more than their fair share of trouble for the Hero Factory

One year frisky gets bored and decides to do something that would become a yearly tradition for us

Frisky’s Winter Camp

Frisky puts out posters advertising a fun getaway for the holidays but when his guests arrive (one plush from each sibling different each year) they are kidnapped and brought to a remote location. There Frisky reveals that it is actually a boot camp with a challenge each day for the plushies to complete

The challenges varied from year to year but the main ones i remembered were the long jump (who can throw the plush furthest from the swing set using their feet) and the swim test (the plushies were dropped into a large puddle that formed at the end of a drainage ditch and would need to be pushed accross with sticks)

Sometimes if the drain was running fast enough we would drop the plush in one side and run to the other side of the street to watch it come out. Im genuinely really surprised we never lost a plush this way.

Each night during the boot camp the stuffed animals would need to camp outside overnight. This meant that they would be left hidden in a bush either in our yard or in the empty lots behind our house and would need to be retrieved in the morning.
