دعوةٌ إلى المشاركة
يطلق مهرجان “بيروت متحرّكة” في دورته الرابعة التي ستجري ما بين ١٨ و٢٢ تشرين الأوّل ٢٠١٥ دعوةً إلى المشاركة في عملٍ يجمع المحرّكين القائمين في بيروت.
وفي سياق هذا العمل على كلِّ محرّكٍ مشاركٍ أن يبعث بفيديو تحريكيًّ عن صورته يظهر من خلاله أسلوبه الخاص. وتتراوح مدّة الفيديوما بين الثّانيتين والعشر ثوانٍ.
وبعد تقديم مقاطع الفيديو هذه، سيتمّ جمعها وتوليفها بهدف صناعة فيديو واحدٍ ونهائيٍّ تُطبَع لقطاتٌ منه على بطاقاتٍ بريديّةٍ. كما سيُقام اجتماعٌ يضمّ المولّف والمحرّكين جميعًا بغية التّداول في كلّ مقطعٍ تحريكيٍّ والتّعاون ومشاركة الجميع في صناعة فيديو نهائيٍّ واحدٍ.

Call for participation
The 4th edition of the animation film Beirut Animated which will take place between the 18th and 22nd of October 2015 is launching a call for participation in a collaborative work between animators residing in Beirut.
During this collaborative work, each participant must send an animated portrait of each animator using his own animation style. The duration of the video should be between 2 seconds and 10 seconds.
The submitted videos will be combined and edited into a single final video. A postcard will be made based on stills from the video. A meeting will be held between all the animators and the editor to debate each animation, collaborate and to each have a say in the end product.

NAAS is hiring a Programs & Communications Coordinator to be based in Beirut. The coordinator will work closely with the Executive Director to develop and implement communication strategies among the network and with its key external constituencies, and coordinate relevant regional projects.
Responsibilities
• Managing and maintaining all internal and external organizational communication platforms (website, newsletter, social media, annual report) • Production of relevant, dynamic and timely online content within the network, for partners and the public • Developing creative strategies to enhance communication across the region • Ongoing communication with network members and other relevant organizations in the region • Developing and maintaining a database of organizational contacts • Initiating and maintaining relations with media contacts • Writing and disseminating press releases • Providing support to ongoing regional projects such as the annual workshop, touring film programs and other projects as they come up • Working closely with the Executive Director to develop a relevant, balanced and innovative annual regional film program • Managing all the organizational aspects of the film programs (communication with distributors and network members, preparing and disseminating promotional materials, shipping and following up with venues to ensure successful screenings) • Maintaining ongoing relationships with key partners and ensuring satisfactory program delivery and reporting
Qualifications
• Relevant experience in the areas of art, film or cultural management. Experience in the field of communications and/or public relations is preferred. • Interest in alternative networks and structures • Ability to work with a diverse set of arthouse cinemas, cine-clubs and multidisciplinary art spaces around the region • Ability to work with multiple individuals and manage several projects at the same time • Ability to write newsletters, press releases and web entries • Experience with generating content on social media platforms • Excellent written and spoken English, Arabic and French
