Types of Talents in the Chart
I like to say that in astrology, we can observe four different types of talents in our natal chart. For this brief analysis, we'll need to examine the following houses: 2nd house, 5th house, 6th house, and 12th house.
💫 The 2nd house will show us all those innate talents. Things we're naturally good at, and even activities we do well even if it's our first time doing them. I recommend reviewing the cusp sign, the planets, and, most importantly, the ruler of that house.
💫 The 5th house is very known for this topic. It's strongly related to those talents for which we will receive recognition and praise, and those in which we have the greatest potential to excel. Even if you have other gifts, you will be more acclaimed or recognized for them. I recommend analyzing the points I mentioned previously.
💫The 6th house shows us the talents that require more effort to develop. You can become very good at this, but it doesn't necessarily come easily. It will likely take effort and a lot of practice, as you must remember the nature of this house. It can even indicate talents or skills you aren't entirely happy with; you always feel you need to perfect them; and therefore, you tend to be more critical of yourself when you engage in this activity.
💫 The 12th house shows us the hidden talents we have; it can even show us talents we possess from past lives. These are the things we're good at, but we don't even realize it. I like to call them dormant talents; they can surface when we least expect them, but it's up to us whether or not we consistently use them.
If you don't have planets in these houses, that's fine. I always recommend focusing primarily on the ruler of the house, as it has more power in it than any planets that may be present.
Here I'll write some talents that can be indicated by having certain planets in some of the houses or as rulers of the houses. Remember to interpret it according to the context.
Sun: Leadership skills. Acting ability. Ability to entertain others. Good sense of humor. Charisma. You easily command attention. Creativity. Ability to bring ideas that are considered great or remarkable to life. You inspire others.
Moon: Others to open up to you. You read people. Great intuition. Good cooking skills. Arts of all kinds, especially if emotions are expressed through them. Writing with great emotional weight. Good memory. Emotional intelligence. You provide emotional comfort to others.
Mercury: Great speakers. Skilled and outstanding writers. Wide range of skills or knowledge in different fields. Intrapersonal skills. Problem-solving. Teamwork. Sense of humor. Good teachers, counselors, or mentors. You learn quickly. Programming. Literature. Translation.
Venus: Any artistic branch (and this depends greatly on the sign in which both Venus and the cusp of one of these houses are located). Creating beautiful things or concepts. Makeup artistry. Dance. Fashion design. Beautifying areas of interest. Interior design. Excellent social skills. Diplomacy. Charm.
Mars: Skills for a specific sport or physical activity. Good leaders with great management skills. Ability to initiate projects that quickly gain popularity or power. Everything related to the functioning of things. Good aspects with Pluto and Saturn can give great skills as surgeons. They streamline processes.
Jupiter: Ability to inspire and guide others in any field. Psychology. They learn/master a second or multiple languages. They connect easily with people different from themselves. Wisdom that allows them to advise others wisely. They can grow projects by getting involved, and even bring out the best in others.
Saturn: Administration. Good architects. Everything related to accuracy, such as diagnostics, analysis, or accounting. Long-term planning and leadership. They easily bring structure to the environments in which they operate. Management positions. Creating legacies or things that endure over time.
Uranus: Trendsetters. Charisma. Idea machines. They have a knack for innovation in their fields. Astrology. Astronomy. Physics. Chemistry. Sciences of all kinds. They're good with technology. They can grow significantly through the internet. Inventors of all kinds. Artists more oriented toward the visual. Clairvoyance.
Neptune: Art that touches the souls of others. Artistic sensitivity. Very strong empathy. Astrology, tarot, any branch of esotericism. Healing abilities. Clairvoyance and precognition. Visions. Musical talents. Acting. Filmmaking. Creative writing.
Pluto: Powerful intuition. Great leaders. They have a strong impact on the people they interact with and/or their environments. Popularity. Persuasiveness and ease in taking charge of an issue. Psychology. In-depth research. Esoteric skills. They empower others. They easily navigate crises. Medicine. Healing. Being able to connect with spirits.

Matthew 25:29
'To those who use well what they are given, even more will be given, and they will have an abundance.'
The Lord has placed within each one of us His treasures called talents. I’m always intrigued by the unique talents different people possess. Some display expertise in music, some are eloquent speakers, others are good at sports...I’m convinced that God gives people those gifts and talents for important reasons and purposes.
We are to discover this treasure and use it for His glory. You may feel like your gift is nothing spectacular, but in reality, it is crucial to the fulfillment of God’s plan. As we seek God, He will show us how to use our gifts in ways that will truly benefit others. Ask the Holy Spirit to help you discover your talent.
PRAYER: Lord, thank You for the gifts and talents You have placed in my life. May I be found faithful in using it well, so that I will bring hope and love to those around me and that I may know the joy of being used in Your service. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
Talents in Navamsha
The D-9 Divisional Chart, or Navamsha Chart, is the second most important chart after the Rasi or D-1 chart. It reveals our potential and certain patterns that characterise our inner world, which typically evolve over a lifetime. With the help of the Navamsha chart, we can also identify our innate talents - these are reflected in the Trikona houses (1, 5, 9) and the planets located there. Any planet placed in one of these houses indicates capabilities and talents carried over from past lives, as well as the areas of life that are naturally preferred for one's activities.
Besides planets located in Trikona houses, it is important to analyse their placement in the Rasi (D-1) Chart, too. And of course, we need to pay attention to the signs of the Trikona houses as well as their rulers.
HOUSES IN NAVAMSHA CHART DESCRIBE...
The first house - The planets in the 1st house of the Navamsha chart reveal the skills, talents, and preferences that are inherent to a person from early childhood, essentially from birth. These often manifest as unconscious abilities, yet people still identify with them on a deep level. Interestingly, individuals may not even recognise these traits as special, assuming them to be average or ordinary simply because they come so naturally.
The fifth house - The planets in the 5th house of the Namasha chart will tell about those talents, which require some personal efforts.
The ninth house -The 9th house planets in Navamsha chart reveal the true direction, skills, and talents that help a person live in harmony with the world and fulfill their life mission.
