If we weren't so busy working on loads of awesome stuff in Dubai, we would have been at the Bologna Children's Book Fair in a flash. It's one of the biggest and best events on the book fair calendar since its inception in 1964, illustrators, writers, publishers, and book lovers come together from all over the world to exhibit and collaborate. And the fact that it's in Italy doesn't make it any less appealing.

Waraq is a Beirut-based community of multidisciplinary artists and designers from across the Arab world, who are doing some pretty impressive stuff (as anyone who spotted their animation studio at Sikka will testify). These beautiful photos were taken of their interactive wall illustration at this year's Bologna Fair, a collaboration between Hussein Nakhal and David Habchy - we're even more sad we missed it now.
