But that was such an important moment. I can not believe even that was erased from her memories.
And possibly the Woman in Kai that is supposed to be a (past) future Feri - even tho the haircolor doesn't match. So... if that actually is a version of Feri... does she come from a world without Van or just from one were she never met Van? After all the implication that Van would not exist in most if not all other timelines is there. Its subtile but it has shown up once or twice. IF we get a full reset, that could easily mean it would also reset the Devil-Thingys showing up that one has chosen Van as a Vessel and without the need for a vessel it is also possible that Van would never be born. OR at least would be born but would lead a very different life. The reason Van became a Spriggan is because his life was such a mess. He is in itself a good guy, but darkness is always hanging over him, ruining his life. His parents gave him up because he "was a demon", then the Cult got their hands on him because of the demonic core inside him. Then when he was finally back to a more normal life the demonic powers started to overwhelm him and he had to leave the two most important people in his life behind and then ended up almost killing his master who took him in despite who he was and what was going on with him. He could never truly live in the light, but he didn't wanted to live in the darkess either, so he chose the Shadows instead. The ones that can not exist without light, but can also not survive in the darkness. A Van that was born without the demonic core, would have likely never given up by his parents, would not have ended up in the orphanage and thus possibly never meet Elaine and Rene. And on the long run Bergard and Agnes and the rest of the ASO, as he never would have become a Spriggan. Asuming that he WOULD have been born without the Demnoc core needing a Vessel. It is also possible that Van was supoosed to die at birth but the demnic core kept him alive and without it... he would not even make it far enough to meet anyone. Ah... we are back at the "so many questions" - situation that really makes me doubt Falcoms decisions. Thing about all the stuff they have to answer after they revealed the Loops. How are they supposed to put all that stuff in one single game while also moving the plot forward and giving it a satisfying conclusion? No wonder they take so long to get Kai 2 out. They propably have no idea how to make this a satisfying game that answer all that there is to answer.
*achem* But that was a really interesting comment.
Ah... I forgot their was another bad ending here. When is this finally gonna stop? I am so sick of it!
This is ridiculous! How can they all be so sure that another rewind would happen? We have no idea of the rules for this. What if it is limited to a certain number of Rewinds and the last one was our last chance? How can you let us run into this ending not knowing if we would be lucky enough to fix our mistake?
Also...this time, they shot all of us. Including Renne, Rene and Elaine. Agnes as officially part of the ASO as well, of course. So we are back to what I said before.
Only from here you can see 4 dead ends. FOUR!
From this point, you can see 3 more. That makes 7. Seven deaths just in Act 3. NO! I just moved to the beginning of this chapter. There were two more. Making 9. Fucking 9 dead ends in this chapter alone. And if we include the one where we get crushed by an airplane later, it will be at least 10. TEN, guys!
That scene with the Jäger-Dropouts was funny... but also stupid. Why would it have been necessary to remind them of what Arkreids collaborators are capable off, given that they already realized that Shizuna and Elaine were there?
Says the guy who lets us die 3 fucking times instead of helpin us, even tho he is appearantly not that much corrodet to begin with.
Yeah so first and foremost: This is not looking so very different from the dance we saw the two Sister dance in Tharbad in the first game. So Falcom didn't even take the time to animate more dance-moves in order to give the Dance of flames more character and meaning. And secondly, I agree with this Kruga Warrior, those two Ladys should NOT be allowed to use that ceremonial dance that is connected to the Kruga-Tribe and their beliefs. It is like trampling on their religion or something. (And no, they are not just doing that for Feri, they clearly said they wanted to include that dance into their next show.)
Oh... so you KNOW that you actually do work against your boss's orders?
You gotta feel bad for her. In the end, she is just a child. She is younger than even Fie was when she joined Class7.
I feel odd that on one hand the game confirms that people in fact CAN doubt the Corrosion but still make it look like they can not fight it anway... or not until we do at least fight them, because after the fight Celis was very well capable of stopping things. Its just... weird.
I still have qualms with this. How can she have survived without at least a heart? I know that pod she was in was meant to let her survive and yes it is from the future and thus might have worked with a technologie that would replace the heart. But that is not all. The brain needs oxygen to live, the heart is just responsible for moving it, the lungs are responsible for... lets say "producing" it. So, theoretically speaking, she would need both of those organs to survive. Meaning that the pod she was in, must have had a way to give her brain oxygen, without using any other organs to get and transport it to her brain.
All that stuff that Falcom will likely never explain to begin with aside... lately I was wondering... we've seen in Kai what happened to that politician's son how he transformed into such a nano-bio-whatever-monster. And I was wondering... was Risette originally kept alive despite the fact that her body was almost completely destroyed because they wanted to make her into such a thing? Because... what sense would if had made to keep someone alive who would clearly not be able to survive outside that pod-thingy? OF course there is the possibility that 50 years from now, even without Marduk ever finding Risette (as it was likely there weren't that many timelines were she could have been born to begin with, as almost all loops ended around 1210 or close to it and thus no way for Marduk to find her and advance her technologie through it) that they were capable of making Bodys like the one Risette has now. But here is the thing, my theory is, that Risettes timeline, is the same timeline were the Professor from Ouroboros (whos name I can never seem to remember) was the only deciple of Epstein. Because that would mean that there was no one to bring the Orbal revolution into the other Countries like Schmidt, Hamilton and Russel did. Slowing the whole process down immensely. Also making it more likely that they focused on that Bio-Nano-Stuff that is supposed to be impossible in this timeline, because there was nor Orbal-Stuff to work with. But if they did that... how high were the chances that they actually developed a fully working replacement body for someone who lost anything but their head? Turning them into half a machine that isn't really much human anymore, seems to be much more likely here. ALSO... if that theory of mine is true, than this would mean there was literally onle ONE timeline for Risette to be born in, in the first place.
*achem* We are back with the questions that can never all be answered in one future game. Sorry.
And instead of doing it way earlier, he actually decided to let us die a few times. So much for him being the strongest warrior. There is more than strength needed for that title, my dude.
