The crew really decided to foreshadow the emotional gut punch they'll be giving us in part 2 😭. Key and Ssyelle friendships is the heart of the show so I can't wait to see how it's tested with Key leaving the Knights for the Dragons. I bet Key leaves out of shame with Ssyelle being mad at him for believing that he can't rely on her or the others despite being friends. Though eh how Ssyelle can be just as stubborn as Key, she's not going to let this friendship end without a fight.

With the way Sugoui and Surya talks about Edina, I feel like both may be telling the truth in their own way. Fom Sugoui perspective, she saw her best friend gave her life to save the school with her refusing to accept that she she nearly destroyed it. Meanwhile, Surya view Edina as someone who almost destroyed the school (and disfigured him) while ignoring how she gave her life to save it. Though this raises the question of what triggered her tama to go out of control. If Key is any indication, it had to have been an incredibly stressful moment.

I've always found so fascinating how for all the show and flashiness they put on, Casper and Callista actually grew up in the lower quarters of Mestras. They are the captains of the Bards, the banner who represents beauty, aesthetic, glory. Yet they come from the dust and sweat of their father's forge. I wouldn't be surprised if they also used to work in it before Kal Asterock.

They want to be golden so bad but, unfortunately, unlike gold, iron does rust.

As a certain music group once said : Some legends are told, sometimes the dust turns to gold... I love them so much I could speak hours about them but that would bore you out 🥺💚💚

hi! i just wanted to say that the donation links were not picked all willy nilly and that the venezuelan community has already determined which are actually trustworthy, and those are the ones mentioned in the thread and the document linked. venezuelans do not trust the government so we implore everyone to avoid donating to any charity org associated with the government. if youre still unsure about it, commissioning venezuelan artists that you already know and trust is a great choice.

I question how famous Edina was in universe cause the fact that Key never knew his mom was a Dragon Striker raises several questions. Given how big of a fan Key is of Goratama, him never discovering that his mom went to Kal Asterock and was a Dragon Striker is weird. And apart from the Goyens and Dino, we don't hear anyone in the show mention Edina by name which is even weirder if she was a famous Goratama player. Maybe people are aware of who Edina is but never knew she had a son, but then surely more people would draw the connection given how Surya reacted when he learned Key's last name. But then it wouldn't explain how Rango doesn't know who Key's mom is unless he didn't know his last name. There's also the fact that among all the ghosts of famous Goratama players that appeared in the crypt, Edina herself surprisingly wasn't among them.

Do y'all think Sugoi may have loved Edina for her power more then she did as a person? Like she obviously cared about Edina but with how hyper fixated she is on Key's power along with being more so impressed by what Key did to Casper rather then horrified, it paints her as someone who may have an obsession with power. It would especially be fitting since her tama only allow her to copy powers rather then have that power truly belong to her.

So like, what kind of things do y'all think are taught at Kal Asterock? Goratama may be what make the school so popular, but it's still a school at the end of the day. They probably teach things like history but are their any fantasy specific classes that tie into the magic of this world like a potion class? And if you aren't on a banner team, why do folks choose to go to Kal Asterock specifically? Is their education program that good? Or do they just go for the Goratama matches?

I'm not doing okay.

I've been plugging Patreon and otherwise more often because I honestly need help. I'm really sorry about this.

I'm tired of having my in-laws as my landlords. My most reliable source of income right now is cleaning for my dad and to put it lightly, our relationship is strained. I need to go no contact with both him and my in laws for the sake of my mental and emotional health.

I'm looking for other work, but goddammit, the job market is a mess. It'll take awhile to find something. I was laid off in December. I went from making about $450 a month to $200 if I'm lucky. My wife has been covering the majority of our bills, but there's only so much she can do.

I really need help separating my income and livelihood from crappy family.
