Alexa was in getting dressed to go out to eat with her girls. She’d just finished doing her makeup when she heard a knock on her apartment door. It was her unborn child’s father Lorenzo. This was not uncommon that he would pop up at her house while she was headed out.

Lorenzo: “There goes my sexy Lexie!” Alexa: “Hey Lorenzo. What are you doing here?”

She was not at all happy to see him, but she couldn’t help the butterflies in her stomach. They have been arguing so much since she decided to keep the baby. The last argument they had Alexa said to herself that she was done with him. She had been dodging his calls so he had no choice but to come to her house unannounced.

Lorenzo: “I wanted to see you. You haven’t been answering my calls or texts. Where you going?” Alexa: “I’m going to meet Jade & the girls for dinner.” Lorenzo: “We really need to talk. Can you call them and tell them you can’t go?” Alexa: “No I don’t want to, plus I am starving. What do you want to talk about Lorenzo?” Lorenzo: “Come on, please? I can order food from your favorite Chinese place.”

He gave her a smirk, knowing that she loves when he makes that face. Lorenzo pulled her in for a hug. At first she didn’t reciprocate, but something triggered some good memories that they shared together. She then embraced him as well.

Lorenzo: “Man I missed you baby. Now let me feed you and my baby in that belly.” Alexa: “Jade is gonna be so mad at me.” Lorenzo: “She’ll be okay. She always is.”

So just like that Alexa & Lorenzo is in a good place again. He apologized for the things that were said and his actions. Lorenzo promised to do better and wants to even start going to doctor’s appointments with her. Alexa wants him to be serious this time because her heart isn’t the only one that’s on the line now.
