"okay, okay. i believe you." she gave in, watching out the window as she drove. "good thinking, i might just meet you there after i'm done." kiara told, "so what is it you do for work?" the girl asked looking at the other.

“yeah for sure. let me just give you my number, and you can text me when you’d like to go.” she smiled; pulling her bag forward to pull out a piece of paper to write on. “ooh, have you done any big stuff lately?”

as the girl continued to explain; she nodded; listening and taking notes of this information. she was far from an expert on cars; she barely knew what kinds there were; especially when waiting for a uber or lyft on the days she didn't feel like driving.. so the female ahead was speaking what seemed to be another language; at least to her. "your guess is as good as mine- i think i forgot to mention I got her for pretty cheap.. so maybe she had prexisting problems before I even got her- she had about 50,000 miles when I got her." she explained, giving a nod at her rules. "of course, i would never." the girl told, "you have my word, thank you again." kiara smiled, "yeah no, i'll call someone when i get to work.- a hobby huh? that's a pretty cool one. "

"come on, you can't think of it like that. divorce is better then parents who aren't happy trying to stick it out." she insisted, nodding at her confirmation. "oh you did? that's pretty badass." kiara told; feeling a small lump form in her throat at the girl's question.. why did she become a lawyer?? she knew.. of course she knew but it was a hefty subject for her to talk about; one she grew very passionate about.. before she opened her mouth she dwelled on the thoughts.. did she tell her the full truth or keep it short and make up a fib?? this girl seemed trust worthy; seemed worthy of truth.. so why was it so hard to just bite the bullet and go on.. maybe it's because she'd be silent on this for the longest time; if she dared interrogated her father he'd get angry.. if she dare suggest it to the police they'd shrug it off and didn't believe her.. she was a girl- and her father would be sure to tell them she was always on about some wild stories.. - but here she was able to fully share her sister's story.. make almost an awareness, that's why she took up this job.. it wasn't to stay silent anmyore; it was to tell the truth with her chest. "blossom.." she continued; even saying her name felt brought a melancholy feeling washing over her.. she missed how it felt to call her over for dinner; to ask her about her day at school.. she missed the happiness that was brought with it; now it was so bitter.. "-my sister, she went missing back in 2011- and no this wasn't just a case of a runaway.. my father- was- and is a mean man, I just know he had something to do with her disappearance.. but nobody would listen to me, so I knew i had to take it into my own hands.." she explained; feeling tears being brought forward in her eyes.. it been a while since she cried.. she didn't like it; her face got all flustered; and she got exhausted.. she didn't have the time to appear as such, she had a meeting; a job to do. "uhm- and that's pretty much it..-how about you? why'd you become a lawyer?"

"okay. so a cup of coffee it'll be." she assured; following the girl as they walked over to her car. "do you live around here? " she inquired continuing to follow.

as the blonde gave out the file; she took it and held it between her arm. "uhm no- that'll be all. though I got to say you're doing better since the last time I saw you.. a doctor? that's pretty amazing, calliope." she gave a small smile; about to head out the door.. sort of hoping to be stopped.

as the girl demonstrated; kiara watched and took mental notes on how to do so. it was easier then she pegged it for; she always figured it was more complicated. "i know, you're right. how many times does an oil even need changed? it seems once I change it the light's already back on." she explained before pulling out her car keys from her pocket and putting herself in the drivers seat; as she turned the keys in she was hopeful as she heard it roar but soon it died down once again. "okay, i think she's fried. maybe it's the engine?" she shrugged, getting out of the car with a sigh. "thank you for all the help though." she told giving a small smile; one she could best muster up.

"i'm a detective, nothing too exciting I suppose." she shrugged, giving a small smile. "this'll be the first time i ever actually read the terms and conditions." she joked getting in alongside her. "downtown is where." kiara told, "so now you know what I do, I guess I should ask what is it you do?" she inquired looking at the other beside her.

"oh trust me the people you have to deal with makes you a saint of some sort." the girl insisted, "oh you do? i'd love that, i've been meaning to take her to a mechanic but it always falls through. -now that'd be asking too much of you, I can call it's no problem." she assured, "pleasure is all mine, lainey." kiara smiled; looking at the other. "oh, i'm a detective, been at it for a few years now."

"as would daisie, i've been meaning to get her to a dog park but i never have the time." she explained, "well you'll love Daisy.. anyways, what is it you do?"

"I dunno, perhaps ravers of some sort.. though i don't really see a cafe as their go to spot. -oh no, how'd you get banned? i mean it's been quite a while since ive bene to a library, I usually read my books on my tablet..-there has to more then just that one though."

"oh no, I just live around quincy and mostly keep there, just today I got a meeting downtown so I guess I gotta broaden my horizons." she explained, "what is it you do for a living, if it's okay for me to ask?."

"just because I can doesn't mean I won't. i'm a detective so with each murder investigation you find out new ways on how people try and hide bodies, and try to clean up. i have to take note to use on new cases is all." she shrugged, "exactly. so we'll call them jane and john doe, A+ for originality." she joked, "so anyways, jane doe is found dead in a supposed 'suicide' but the thing is she shot herself using her right hand when she's left handed, so it didn't add up.. not to mention the lack of blood around her- which tells us she was moved around and placed..-anyways the break in the case is we found a lock of john doe's hair- which turns out to be her husband, who we believe she was cheating on for about 2 months- but he found out and possibly went off and killed her."

"that and my job revolves around solving cases. it's nice to see someone else's point of view on them, especially when you got all this evidence at hand." she explained, returning the girl's smile. "that is true, most like to make a big scene and have it all over the news, which is why i don't condone using their names when talking about said events.. just gives them the fame they wanted." she pointed out, "you're speaking my language. -i'm kiara by the way."

as the girl cleared a seat; kiara happily took it. "are you sure? i'm asking a pretty big thing of you." she asked with a brow rose, "oh-right, we'll be heading downtown, if that isn't too far of course."

"nothing wrong with being weird, - and unsolved cases? you're speaking my language." she assured; "don't worry, i know if you were some sort of murderer you wouldn't just air out your dirty laundry just like that." she told, "i know it'd drag me in, but i've always been a sucker for mysteries. i like to try and solve them for myself before i'm even told what the mystery is."

"alright, you're a real smart ass you know that right?" she inquired; of course in a teasing tone. even if it hardly just begun she found herself having fun oddly enough. "did i forget to mention i don't live around here? i didn't even know there was a mall around. " kiara explained following his lead, "do i even get to know the name of this stranger i'm following to a mall? how do i know you're not taking me to some abandoned building to kill me, hm?" she joked.
