so funny how I’ll still sometimes see people shitting on Batwoman for not wanting to work with Batman in older comics when there was a 50+ issue story arc about how him overcoming her objection to working together was a bad idea and they can never be true partners in a long-term, close, working partnership bc they’re fundamentally incompatible despite holding mutual admiration and affection for each other. a bunch of people literally died over this, Kate got stabbed, 3 different teen heroes got traumatized, it was a bad time!
