When Koume and Kotake trick Link into pulling the Master Sword free of the Temple of Time, ten years after he placed it there to return himself to his own past, the world shatters around them and many of the Heroes across time are dragged together to stabilize a broken world.
How will they restore each other to their homes and families? Can they even get along long enough to find a solution without dying to one world or another or, worse, killing each other?

aang is such a crazy fucking protagonist actually. Like I know he tends to get glossed over because there are just so many good characters in atla but like imagine waking up one day and every one you’ve ever known is just. Gone. People talk about it about it so matter of factly, because of course there are no airbenders, no one’s seen one for a hundred years. And suddenly you’re an artifact. The jokes you told your friend a week ago are now windows into a lost culture. The clothes you threw over your head in a rush that morning are antiques. This isn’t the world you were being raised to save, not anymore

things that always make me happy: serial commenters. there are three types
1) reading a longfic chapter by chapter, leaving an increasingly emotional comment on every chapter, descends into keysmashes near the end: outstanding
2) read one fic by accident, clicked the author name, now working steadily through the backlog and commenting on everything, I wake up to an AO3 inbox full of enthusiasm: precious beyond words
3) the longterm serial commenter whose comment begins with I don’t even know this fandom but because they have followed me from somewhere else: stunning. humbling. magical.
these are all *chef’s kiss* and I want to add one more:
4) left a comment a while ago, comes back and leaves another comment on the same fic, telling you that they’re coming back to reread the fic: angels. blessings. lifesavers.
he would not fucking say that, but with disability.. he would not fucking be able bodied. sick n tired of characters walking away from multiple life changing injuries without a scratch. let’s get some natural consequences in here.
give that knife/sword fight survivor nerve damage. give the character who was shot in the gut a stoma. give that fire survivor lung damage and an oxygen cannula. give that leg injury survivor a cane. give that starvation survivor gastroparesis. give that spinal injury survivor a manual chair or powerchair.
while we’re at it, give your characters congenital disabilities too, just because. give them intellectual and development disabilities. give them acquired and postviral illnesses. dare to make somebody bedbound. for me.
