Kind Of A Big Deal

reminder to all disabled people that you’re allowed to tell people “i can’t do that” about stuff you can ‘technically’ do but which harms you or requires a period of recovery or preparatory rest etc. you don’t have to explain the complex nuances of your condition to anybody who demands it. i’ve found it’s honestly better to give the least amount of info about your symptoms unless you trust a person a lot. you hold the power over your health information. you choose whether or not to share the details of your condition with people who might not understand.

I know the Justice League has several different origin stories, but the idea that it started out as Bruce and Clark finishing a reluctant team-up saying “I guess we should have a way to stay in contact with each other” and then five years later they were coparenting an entire satellite of superheroes is so funny to me.

a lot of people dont care about insect biomass collapse bc when they hear we are losing 2.5% of the insect biomass per year they just imagine the cockroach and housefly population decreasing by that much. they dont realize those are among the only ones that will remain unbothered

I'm having soo many feelings right now wow as a muslim watching an anime about an culture similar to mine an anime which takes islam in it itself without propaganda feels insane. No forget an anime a series in general, it genuinely made me emotional idk how it'll go tbh I didn't read the manga but I'm so hyped to see this story unfold. I love our little star so much already.
