Fucking fuming
Had training today at work which involved partnering up and practising different holds and escape techniques on each other.
Group leader announced âsome womanâ last year complained about being touched by a man and so we should sit out if we want to. He went on to talk about the âstate of the worldâ at the moment when women are âtoo sensitiveâ and the me too movement has âgone wildâ.
So obviously now I felt uncomfortable sitting out because whole group agreed with him and uncomfortable taking part because strange men grabbing me.
Gaslighting and manipulating a group to join in. So disgusting. And all this in a mental health setting.
