This first phase of merch will be until March, then they'll switch to chibi designs through April.

I had actually never been to a Round 1 before. I believe it originated in Japan, but opened up locations in the US and maybe other countries later. It has a lot of fun stuff, like bowling, pool, ping pong, arcade games, karaoke, and - the coolest thing in my opinion - crane games with anime merch! There's tons of crane games with figures and plushies from a variety of popular anime, like Demon Slayer, Frieren, Gintama, Attack on Titan, JJK, and others. Also a couple of SxF ones with Anya plushies!

Normally I loathe gacha and crane games because of how rigged they are, plus I hate gambling my hard earned money for something I might not get. I guess a lot of people like the thrill of not knowing if they'll get what they want, but whenever I spend money, I want to make sure it's actually going towards something I want and will get! 😅But I had to spend a certain amount of money on game credits in order to get the exclusive merch, so I ended up playing the crane games anyway. I managed to win a few things, but I didn't care if I lost a lot because at least the money for credits went towards to the exclusive SxF stuff 🤣

Pictured below are what I got: the SxF game credit card (that I should be able to keep using at Round 1 even when the collab is over), two keychains you can get from putting a certain amount on your game card, a collectible cup, and one of several different coasters you can get from buying one of the drinks (got Bond on this first visit).

But my favorite item was this huge towel you could get for reloading your game card with an additional $30 worth of points!

I love it so much that I felt it would be wasted simply using it as a towel, so I decided to hang it up in my room like a tapestry ❤️

Among the few items I ended up winning at the crane games was one of the Anya plush keychains.

I went to Round 1 again this past Saturday with mutuals from one of the SxF Discord servers I'm in. I got a couple more coasters, one of Anya and the other of the whole family~ With all of us together, we ended up getting almost all of the coasters designs! (just missing one Anya).

I also got a sticker, which they didn't have when I first went. Will make a scan of it whenever I do my next batch of scanning!
