No but fr. Thinking about them integrating one a other into one shared routine, maybe not accounting for such a thing at first, but then feeling strange when that routine is broken 🤧 im so normal about this information

Give it up for day five >:)) today's prompt is "surprises", and this still crosses into headcanon territory, but is probably the most self indulgent of my posts thus far 🤣 I cannot deny that a ghost trick crossover was one of the reasons why I was able to keep plugging away at my drawings this past month GDKSHD

So if i'm not mistaken, this is a repeat prompt from last year?? 😅 for that reason I really struggled with brainstorming for this one. Obviously didnt wanna reheat old nachos by making my drawing too similar to last year's, and I've already done a Miles and Phoenix roleswap..... but then i had an epiphany :O

I dont quite remember Phoenix's role in the au? My brain is telling me it connects to his art degree somehow, like he became a police/courtroom sketch artist? But I forgor </3

N E WAYS 💪 this art takes place during turnabout goodbyes, not sure if that's clear 😂 i used this as an excuse to practice drawing kissing, i realized i dont actually make people kiss in my drawings very much and should probably fix that :P

My headcanons continue >:) I have so many things in mind for these future designs, I just need to sit down and make proper reference sheets

I guess you could consider this as a fake aa7 poster >:0 my ideal aa7 scenario definitely features Phoenix and Miles working together on cases in a fundamental way 🙂‍↕️ but also like I kinda touched upon in yesterday's post, I really think the latter half of the AA series doesnt hit the same because it's kinda afraid of acknowledging the old, while also not fully committing to being something new </3

I'm ngl. I wanted to do something that connected to day 7's revival (mavbe I still will, im not actuallv done with day 7 yet 🤣), but because i couldn't think of anything, I procrastinated this drawing in a major way 💀

But what I ended up landing on is something i'm ultimately very proud of 🙂‍↕️ a lot can be said about Miles' character arc bv this point in the trilogy. Which is why I felt like the forbidden hospital scene was perfect for this prompt, it's not only a transformation within his career, but an emotional transformation as well

(Plus in my headcanon the events of AAI2 take place before T&T, so this would explore the depth in Miles' character more accurately, since at that point he would've already played around more with what it means to stand on either side of the courtroom and fight for justice, and gives him the self-assurance needed to fight in Phoenix's place)
