Hang on hang on… Wasn’t Anya’s name originally spelt ‘Ania’?? There was that panel in the manga where her name on the door was spelt ‘Ania’ and she had to remind herself of her new spelling when Loid corrected her?

Some examples:

I remember this line from Handler punched me in the gut really hard when I first read it.

It stood out a lot for some reason and felt like a lot more than a random throwaway line.

Then, the hulu subtitles say: “No, anyone who’d send something like that is only concerned with what they personally want to see. This is not going to get through to them in the least.” Feels watered down to me and and does not strike me in any way like the original did. I’ve checked a few other translations and none of them really get it right.

Hulu subtitles: “Anya is enjoying having time on her hands right now, so she’s actually busy.” eh??

Obviously I have no idea what the Japanese is actually saying so I guess I can’t judge the translations too hard but just something I noticed ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I also am really obsessed with the way that Endo uses negative space, it always conveys so much depth that I think gets lost in the anime.

aside from that there’s a few times that the music starts being silly goofy ahh when I think the scene should be taken a little more seriously lol

Those are my thoughts and I by no means want to start a fight about this but I’m really curious what everyone else thinks! Please tell me your thoughts :)

In eng translation it seems like Yuri got indignant by the whole sentence (or just the «obnoxious» part)

But first i read this chapter in ru translation so i noticed some differences

Chloe says that she finds Yuri's behavior cute yet exhausting.

And instead of "Hey!" he exclaims "Cu..." (cute) here.

So this is the only thing that confused him lol

I checked the original to make sure and it goes the same here!!

His half-word is «かわいい» - «kawaii"

I found it funny cause.. Yuri's coworkers insult him regularly, he's so used to it to the point where he gets mad at an actually positive take about him and ignores everything else lmaooo
