Yup! I'm certain theres an interview or a mischief makers type thing where Dave mentions it specifically tho I couldn't tell you which
But yes for the briefest of periods - between I think the first fringe show (August 10th 2008) and at least March 2nd 2009 but to June 26th (2009) at the latest - different mischief (scatpack) members wore specific colours
Unfortunately, the pics from let's see what happens are all black and white, but here's an assortment of colour coded mischief from the rest of the 8+ months:
Hen & Harry - Red
Dave - Green
Josh & Charlie - Purple
In my head Jon was also in red, but he seems to be in pure black in everything I have so I must b thinking of the improvised ad break
I'm unclear whether Mike every really followed the uniform policy, but he seemed to be in grey
And for the deeply nerdy, Richard Hutton was Red and Coral Tarran was also in all Black
Thoughts from Spies bc I have far too many of them and I think I'm beginning to annoy my family.

another warning there is very little rhyme or reason to the order here just what my brain popped out with :)
Firstly props to matt cavendish who came on as bernard halfway through the second act - honestly that's just incredible. I'd never seen a show stop before - like shields dived through a door, the set changed and then nothing happened. so naturally the audience has a bit of a giggle until the house lights come on and we get an announcement that the show's stopped due to a technical error. then we have a bit of a wait, not really knowing what's going on, until like 10 minutes later and they announce matt is going on.
Also a minor part but the jazzy/lift/spy music was so much fun.
Elena you are such an icon but also you poor girl I hope you get many more hugs from sergei in guernsey. also bryony's performance was incredible and the fashion is top notch.
Rosemary also such an icon, i had half figured it out but when she put on the green jacket oh the gasps i gasped. there was then many more gasps to be gasped (MARCO).
Bless sergei's wee cotton socks he's so sweet how he ended up in this industry I don't know. Also at the point where he's eating the banana part of it just fell off (?!) and as the scene changed chris just looked at it with such a what the focaccia look. and the delivery of the "steak for a big strong boy" was on point
At one point during the battenburg set when sergei and elena were plotting I just thought I'd see what else was going on onstage and oh its just henry shields changing his trousers okay then.
and the whole thing about the threesome was hysterical and I couldn't not laugh but I was also sat between my parents so yk but oh well it was far too funny not to laugh.
and the whole bit going between the really intense fighting and then just the "so basically just wrist to elbows" bit was soo well done.
I also loved the very blatant use of puppet lance.
and nancy as janet was so so amazing I had so few suspicions (side note: i was very proud of myself for recognising the bare basics of the russian they spoke) and tbf everyone else was amazing as well
