Greg Tannahill's first casting in the play that goes wrong was as Robert, not Jonathan.

In the second pre west end run at the old red lion - Henry Lewis wanted to try out playing a different character, and it just so happened that the actor from the previous run for Jonathan couldn't do the next, so when they brought Greg in he was cast as Robert, whilst Hen got to try out being Jonathan

In his 'pier today gone tomorrow' cameo, the hat Harry Kershaw wears is from an old peter pan goes wrong narrator costume

Dave and Matt were not wrong when they said all he owns is a flat cap and a blazer - that hat is entirely courtesy of mischief (though I suppose he can be given credit for the sunglasses)

I always thought the twelfth Doctor’s guitar looked weird to me because I didn’t know enough about guitars but apparently no it is on record everywhere as “weird fucking little guitar” and Peter Capaldi picked it up secondhand in a shop because he thought it looked like “a Fender Stratocaster had been described to someone who had never seen one”

Other thing you may not have noticed from the show (I certainly didn’t) is that it’s sparkly. The Twelfth Doctor canonically plays a glittery surf guitar. The “black sparkle” finish is apparently not documented in any catalogues and Yamaha just released it into the wild at some point in the 2000s probably.

I spent half an hour trying to find clear info on whether the lever does pitch bending or more wah pedal effect stuff and why some SGV-800s have it and some don’t?? No answer, get fucked
