Hi! I’m Quinn, and recently my husband was in a front end collision (a wreck) that totaled our recently paid off our 2013 Volkswagen Jetta. This was our only means of transportation for my numerous doctors visits (I have at least 3 a month, an hour away, as all my specialists live in the metro area and we are quite rural) and to get to his work… which he recently also was terminated without warning.

We really just need the money to do some sort of down payment on sort of newish (~2015-2020) car.

To be honest, 2024 has been beating us down since the start. It’s just been a hard year in general, but losing the car has brought us to a new low.

Hey y’all, it’s me again. My name is John— I’m a single broke AF trans guy living on my own with my dog. It’s currently 3/4/24. I just paid rent on the first and was going to have plenty of money to get me through until Friday rolls around again… until this pending bill right here. I hate hate hate hate that when you pay for something, it doesn’t just immediately get taken from your account. Noooooo instead you buy groceries for you and your dog and put gas in your vehicle and all that is fine— and then what’s this? ‘We’re going to fuck you, just because we can!! Forget about the fact that you need a testosterone refill on Tuesday and if you miss it you’ll be screwed!’

I hate having to beg for donations but the capitalist hellscape we’re all trapped in has brought me here again. I’m hoping for maybe 80$-115$? Just enough to get me to Friday— and out from under the impending doom of this payment.
