After Bobby's death and the events in Tommy's life leading up to it he begins feeling haunted by his past in Los Angeles. He feels like he needs a fresh start, so he transfers to the 335 in Nashville.
Once there he finds the family he has always wanted, and miraculously he even finds his way back to Evan.

The move from his loft, to Eddie's house, to crashing in Ravi's spare room with most of his stuff in storage, to moving in with Tommy had left his stuff spread through a multitude of boxes and plastic storage tubs. Moving in together meant going through all of their stuff and taking inventory of everything.
It wasn't the 1950's, they weren't going from living with their parents to cohabitation and marriage. Not that they're married yet, they're talking about it but they aren't quite ready for that step yet. But that's beside the point. The point is that they are two adult grown men in their mid thirties and early forties who have lived on their own for more than a decade. They have two of everything and they do not need two coffee makers; they especially do not need two dining room tables. He doesn't care what Tommy says, they don't need or have space for both and realistically they wont be hosting 118 celebrations often enough to justify it. Athena had only just slightly begrudgingly started letting Chimney and Hen occasionally host.
Buck is currently going through all of their kitchen stuff, most of Tommy's stuff is in the donation box because Buck refuses to cook with Tommy's Teflon coated monstrosities when he has the top of the line cookware Bobby and Athena gave him as a housewarming present when he moved into his old loft. He refuses to feel bad about it because Tommy is going through Buck's collection of movies, cds, and records and Buck noticed that his very small collection of dvds and blue rays had ended up in Tommy's box of donations rather than be added into his boyfriend's Blockbuster sized collection.
"I didn't know you were a Swiftie." Tommy said laughing which made Buck look up from where he was trying to sort through Tommy's worryingly large collection of mismatched measuring utensils. Buck is a little scared to ask why Tommy has at least two of every size but not a single one comes from the same set.
"Taylor is a national treasure. I love her music. It makes me feel things." That just makes Tommy laugh harder setting aside Buck's large stack of Taylor Swift records carefully.

"It makes us all feel things." Tommy said still laughing. "But her music doesn't exactly match the rest of your collection." Tommy finished still laughing as he gestured to Buck's mixture of rock and hip hop.
"I'm a Swiftie by association." He explained with a smile and a shrug which just made Tommy laugh harder.
"What does that even mean?"
"Maddie got me into her music back before she was famous." Buck explained giving up sorting the ridiculous amount of measuring spoons tossing them back into the drawer. You can never have to many, he tells himself, especially with all the baking and cooking he does lately. "That was actually my first concert. Maddie took me to one in Philly back before she moved to Nashville and hit it big." Buck said crossing through the kitchen into the living room sitting on the floor next to Tommy picking up his stack of vinyls flipping through them until he found Debut. "Maddie used to give me so much shit for singing all these songs with my whole chest even though I'd never had a girlfriend or been through a breakup." Tommy isn't laughing anymore, he's smiling at him fondly listening to Buck talk about music and Maddie. Tommy scoots over closing the small gap between them draping his arm over Buck's shoulders humming as he runs his finger over the track list on the back of the vinyl.
"Chimney, Sal, and I used to sing Tim McGraw at the top of our lungs when we were cleaning the rigs. It made Gerrard absolutely irate so we just did it more often." Buck laughs softly. He can absolutely picture the three men doing that.
"Its weird to think you were already a fire fighter in 2006." He says resting his head against Tommy's shoulder. "I was only fifteen when this album came out." Tommy groaned loudly.
"Don't say things like that. It makes me feel like a creepy old man." Now it is Buck laughing into Tommy's shoulder so hard his entire body is shaking and tears are gathering in the corners of his eyes.
"You're not creepy or old." Buck says in-between giggles. "You're only seven years older than me. That's nothing." Tommy hummed.
"Seven years would have been a lifetime in 2006." Tommy says flatly which only makes Buck laugh harder.
"Then it's a good thing we met in 2024." Buck says making Tommy roll his eyes.
"Brat." His boyfriend mutters under his breath which just makes Buck laugh even harder if that was possible, but it makes Tommy break down in his own fit of giggles. Eventually their laughter fades and Tommy stands up grabbing the stack of records tucking them in with Tommy's old collection of classic dad rock carefully. Tommy bends over carefully taking Debut out of Buck's hands, walking over to the record player. The opening chords of Tim McGraw begin filtering through their living room as Tommy walks over to Buck pulling him to his feet, tucking him into Tommy's broad chest. One of Tommy's large hands goes to the small of Buck's back. Buck places one hand on Tommy's shoulder, their other hands joining together cradled between their chests as they begin dancing slowly.
He said the way my blue eyes shined put those Georgia stars to shame that night. I said that's a lie.
Buck closed the scant gap between them drawing Tommy in for soft, slow kisses as they danced to the slow ballad about the loss of your first love. The pair swayed slowly in their sun drenched living room surrounded by the chaos of half cardboard boxes as they blended their lives together. They danced pressed together comfortably like two puzzle pieces made to fit together with their temples resting against each other between kisses as Tommy sang along softly making Buck smile.
"When you think Tim McGraw, I hope you think my favorite song, the one we danced to all night long." Buck sighed happily allowing himself to relax into Tommy's arms. "When you think Tim McGraw, I hope you think know me."
"I love this album." Buck said softly as they continued their dance.
"So this one is your favorite?" Tommy asked as Taylor crooned about black dresses and her head on an ex boyfriend's chest. Buck show his head a little making a noncommittal noise.
"No. Evermore is. It's just that…" Buck trails off looking for the right words. Tommy is as patient as ever, leading their dance and humming while waiting for Buck to find the right words to express himself. They've gotten a lot better at communicating since getting back together. "This album encompasses such a big part my life when I was a lonely teenager. It was comforting knowing I wasn't alone, that someone else felt as lonely as I did." Tommy hummed understanding. "I listened to this album a lot when I was doing my whole nomadic journey to find myself. It made me miss Maddie less, it felt like she was right there in the jeep with me singing along when I would listen to this album." Tommy turned his head pressing a gentle kiss to Buck's cheek.
"And now you've found yourself and you don't have to be lonely or miss Maddie anymore." Tommy murmured, perfectly understanding everything Buck was thinking and feeling.
"Yeah." Buck agreed, sighing happily making himself smaller so that he can better curl up in the safety of Tommy's arms, resting his head on Tommy's broad shoulder. They stayed like that for a bit swaying in circles in a comfortable silence.
"You know everything I hear a Taylor Swift song now I think of you." Tommy said smiling at Buck. He snorted, rolling his eyes picking his head up from Tommy's shoulder.
"You are so full of shit." Buck replied being a brat, challenging his boyfriend's statement. Tommy laughed tossing his head backwards as his face got all fond and crinkly as he did so.
"I am not." Tommy said smiling at Buck with that big, bright, crinkly smile full of amusement and adoration. "Every single Taylor Swift song makes me think of you, because I'm always thinking of you." Buck rolled his eyes,
"Sap." He accused, his voice far to fond to be misconstrued as a tease.
"Damn straight." Tommy agreed leaning in to kiss Buck, pouting when he pulled back not done teasing Tommy.
"Okay so how does this song make you think of me?" Buck challenged turning their romantic moment into a light hearted silly game.
"I'll tell you how every song on this album makes me think of you, if you tell me what moment in your life it makes you think of." Tommy bartered. They were still dancing as they laughed, smiling at each other, making up rules for this new game. Buck hummed thoughtfully.
"What do I get if you can't do it?" Tommy chuckled, grinning as he replied.
"I'll dress up in whatever ridiculous over the top couples costume you want for Hen and Karen's Halloween party and," Tommy pressed in impossibly closer so that his lips where right next to his ear. "I'll do it without complaining." Buck shivered from the feel of Tommy's warm breath and the way his voice had dropped into that dark husky tone that he gets when he is about to completely wreck Buck.
"Not fair." He whined protesting the use of Tommy's bedroom voice. He knows what it does to Buck, his practically Pavlovian response and how it makes his brain go silent, rendering him completely uses for anything that requires higher brain function.
"Sorry Darlin." Tommy said, not sounding very sorry at all.
"And what do you want if you can do it." Tommy hummed, still grinning.
"I'll let you know." His boyfriend said with a half shrug making Buck role his eyes. He knows that you shouldn't make a deal or a bet with knowing all the terms and details. But it's Tommy. Tommy would never do anything to humiliate him. The worst thing that could happen is Tommy having found some new way to tie him up and tie him down that he wants to try out. Which wouldn't exactly be a hardship for Buck. He's the one getting the bigger end if the stick here.
And Tommy was always going to dress up with him with minimal complaints. But maybe Buck could go a little more over the top if he wont have accommodate Tommy's disinterest in costumes. Maybe he can get Tommy to agree for them to dress up as a certain pop star and NFL tight end power couple.
"Okay, you're on." Buck agreed as the final refrain started. "This song makes me think of my first girlfriend, Kara. We were sixteen and met at camp, she was a volleyball player from Reading. We met at summer camp when we were sixteen and spent all of that summer attached at the hip and kind of obsessed with each other. We were each others first. But we got into a huge fight after school started back up and we broke up in a spectacularly dramatic fashion. But we were both completely gutted about the breakup." Tommy hummed leaning in kissing Buck.
"It makes me think of when we were broken up. It was the hardest thing I've ever done and my biggest mistake. I spent all those months thinking about you, fighting the urge to call you and beg you to take me back." Tommy replied with his own story. This time it is Buck who leaned in kissing Tommy tenderly.
"We did manage to figure it out though" Buck says reassuringly once they finally pull back from the kiss.
"We did." Tommy agreed smiling brightly making Buck feel warm and fuzzy, making him feel loved. "And now when we listen to this song, I don't have to think about that, about how badly I hurt you. You don't have to think of your first broken heart. Because we can think of this instead." Buck swallows thickly, not expecting to be overcome with such a large wave of emotions.
"Sap." He says instead and the way that Tommy is still smiling at him tells him that he heard the words Buck didn't say out loud.
"I love you too." Tommy says drawing Buck in for one more kiss as the ballad tapers off and the record switches over to the next track. Buck pulled back grinning slyly.
"Alright smart guy. Tell me how this song makes you think of me." Buck is grinning batting, because there is no way Tommy can make him emotional over Picture to Burn and Buck can't wait to hear whatever ludicrous story Tommy is about to spin.
"You first Darlin." Tommy replied easily. With a mischievous twinkle in his eye.
"You and Rodriguez are a cute couple." Evan says softly making Tommy's head snap to the side so he can look at Evan. But Evan isn't even looking at him, he's looking down at the table like he's fighting back tears. "I'm—I'm really happy for you. You deserve to be happy." Tommy opens his mouth to clear that misunderstanding up right now. But luck is not on his side because as soon as he tries to correct Evan the tones go off and he's pulled into the ambulance with Peggy and Jake.
What's worse is Tommy can't seem to find a moment with Evan where it would be appropriate to have that conversation. It seems like every time he finds a second alone with Evan to try to emphatically promise that him and Jake are absolutely not a couple the tones go off. That or they are actively on a call and that is not the time to have that conversation.
The longer the shift goes on the more he spirals going over every interaction he'd had with Jake that day; trying to figure out where Evan had gotten the impression him and Jake are together. Tommy thought him and Jake had been way less homoerotic with each other than usual. Was it the pet names? God he hopes it's not that. Once his brain stops hyper-analyzing his every moment of the day a different sort of panic sets in.
Would Evan even believe him that he's not dating Jake? That there are no feelings between them romantic or otherwise? Would Evan believe Tommy that Jake is straight? Tommy thinks he would probably deserve Evan not believing him about any of it. After all Tommy had been the one who thought Evan was secretly harboring feelings for Diaz and had scoffed when Evan pointed out Eddie is straight.

In the time Tommy has been with the 335 he has heard about about Bren's troubles with her beloved 66 Jeep almost every month and every time Jim, or Flint or Willow or even Mags, mentions some new issue Tommy offers to take a look at it. Partially because he loves these people, he loves Jim and Bren, and Tommy shows his love that way. He wants to take care of the people he loves.
Thats why he always helps Fitz put away her weekly inventory and why he taught Peggy to change the oil in her SUV. It's also why he changed her breaks and tires. Not because Peggy is incapable, but she just has zero interest in mechanics but also hates paying out the nose for vehicle maintenance.
It's why Tommy had dragged himself out of bed at ass o'clock in the middle of the night to go get Cleo when her little piece of shit, Volkswagen beater had broken down on the side of the highway when she was on her way home from visiting her Grandma in Savannah leaving her stranded just outside of Chattanooga. If he didn't love Cleo he wouldn't have made the four hour round trip at two in the morning to go get Cleo and tow her Volkswagen back to Nashville before spending his next seventy-two off fixing it.
Of all the members of the 335 Cleo was the one he thought he would have the hardest time bonding with. He's always struggled to bond with probies, Tommy struggles to bond with people in general, but the older he gets the younger the probies get and bonding with them feels more and more impossible.
He doesn't seem to have that problem with Cleo though.

Maybe a lingerie prompt with Nanteo? Interpret it however you want 👀
I hope you like it!
Tw: lingerie kink, man wearing lingerie, smut under the cut.
Mateo loves seeing Nancy in lingerie. It's hot. And she looks hot in it. The memory of Nancy in lacy, fire engine red lingerie is still one of his two favorite spicy memories, the other is from birthday when Nancy had found some really sexy lingerie that resembled the dresses of Chorus Girls from Captain America wore. Mateo still thinks of that when their nights off dont line up and it's just him and his hand.
Now it's Nancy's birthday that is coming up and Mateo is trying to covertly scroll the internet for lingerie. Not for Nancy, but for himself. Hes absolutely nervous as hell about it, scared Nancy won't like it. He doesn't worry about Nancy laughing at him, she would never do that, because she loves him and knows how scary this can be for him. But he still wants Nancy to like it. So he scrolls and scrolls until he finds just the right things. His heart races in his chest the entire time he places his order.
Finally Nancy's birthday arrives and the day goes completely to plan. Nancy goes out for breakfast and manicures with her older sister, Heather. She's treated to lunch by Tk and Nancy which gives Mateo plenty of times to get everything ready. Not just showering and summoning the courage to put on the lingerie, but to wrap her actual present, a first edition copy of The Hitch Hickers Guide Tommy's The Galaxy. He also makes Nancy Chicken Kiev and all her favorite sides. He tries not to think about what's under his jeans and sweater.
Dinner goes off without a hitch and Mateo is so nervous he struggles to finish his slice of the strawberry and chocolate birthday cake he had gotten from Nancy's favorite bakery. He's nervous about looking like an asshole by rushing Nancy towards the bedroom as soon as dinner is over, so instead he puts on their song so they can dance for awhile.
"Tim was the only person who ever pulled out all the stops like this for me, he said I deserved to celebrate my birthday, that I deserve to be celebrated." Nancy confessed softly as they slow danced in in the living room.
"He was right. You do deserve to be celebrated." He responds and Nancy just looks at him like he hung the moon and stars, but he is looking at her the same way.
"Teo, take me to bed."
They don't stumble over each other as they move down the hall, still kissing. It feels like they are still dancing, perfectly in sync with each other. Their kisses remain slow and tender as the bedroom door shuts behind them. It's soothing, and comforting to lose themselves in the kisses and slow removal of clothing. It makes Mateo completely forget the reason for his earlier anxiety.
"Babe?" Mateo uas to take a deep breath so that he doesn't shrink in on himself, he stands as still as possible letting Nancy study him with wide eyes. He let's her take in the sight of Mateo in delicate, violet lingerie.
"Is it okay?" He asks softly trying to sound more calm and confident then he actually feels at the moment. Unfortunately the slight tremor to his voice gives him away.
"It's beautiful, your beautiful." Nancy breathes staring at Mateo reverent.
"Yeah?" He asks and can feel himself blushing.
"Yeah." Nancy replies wrapping her arms around his shoulders, pressing a tender kiss to his lips. "Can I show you how sexy I find you right now?" Mateo doesn't trust himself to speak so he just nods.
There is more kissing as they find there way into the center if the bed in a tangle of limbs and tender touches. Nancy trails her lips down his neck, skimming them over his collar bones, over the delicate, see through material of the bralett he is wearing. She doesn't play with his nipples, they aren't particularly sensitive and it doesn't do anything for him the way it does for Nancy.
Instead she trails kisses down his sternum, over his belly, to the band of the matching delicate panties that were barely covering his straining erection.
Nancy licked over his panties covered erection making him jolt, and moan.nancy doesn't waste anytime worshiping his cock through the delicate underwear, sucking him off through them and it feels incredible, better than he could have ever imagined. It doesn't take long and he is fighting off his own orgasm, twitching away from Nancy's skilled mouth.
"Close." He warned. "I'm to close."
"So?" Nancy replied resting her chin on his him looking up at him with lust filled, big brown eyes.
"It's your birthday." Mateo says and it must sound like a lame excuse because Nancy rolls her eyes fondly.
"Babe, shut up and let me unwrap my present however I see fit." Mateo laughs, but he doesn't object. Instead he lets Nancy enjoy her gift, and hom, however she likes.
I think Mateo deserves to be picked up by Nancy. As a treat
He absolutely does! I hope you enjoy this fun and silly drable!
Nancy and Mateo were snuggling on the couch watching Tik Toks on Mateo's phone giggling. They had just had an incredibly long and emotionally taxing shift and were putting off finishing unpacking after moving in together. They had started out watching hilarious reviews of cringy romance novels and somehow wound up watching videos of women trying to pick up their boyfriends using a fireman carry.
"You would absolutely destroy this challenge." Mateo had announced which had lead to them setting up his phone for them to record Nancy doing the challenge.
This isnt the first time they've done a tik tok challenge. Mateo's personal favorite was the book boyfriend lean. He has never swooned so hard in his life as he did when Nancy leaned over him like that.
Mateo lays on the floor completely dead weight because Nancy demanded that she wanted a challenge. She had so far nailed the roll over carry. Now she is about to do a traditional fire man's carry.
If he thought that the book tok boyfriend lean was the most swoon worthy thing to have ever happen to him, he is happy to be proved wrong when he is pulled up off the floor and tossed over Nancy's shoulders like he weighs nothing at all.
"We should go to the bedroom." He says and Nancy agrees with a giggle carrying him off towards the bedroom leaving his phone recording in the living room.

Can I ask for “12. Tell us about a WIP you’re excited about.” please? No cheating with your Nashville au 👀 (unless you want to because it is very exciting)
You definitely can!
Nashville or Nothing is currently being posted, so I won't talk about that one to much 😜 but there are a few more stories I'm writing for the Nashville 335 universe that I'm excited about.
Some Peggy and Tommy bestiesm shenanigans
A few different members of the 118 visiting Nashville
Fitz trying (and failing) to play bucktommy matchmaker
But other than Nashville I'm excited about Daddy Issues, another multi chapter omegaverse fic.
I'm also in the process of going back and doing some re-writes and edits for the Calypso verse that I am excited to start sharing.
Hello!
I just reread your fic "Cucked and Collared". SOOOO GOOOOD.
Is a second part planned? I'm dyyyyying to read more and have a sequel 😚
Thaaaank youuuu !!
Thank you!!!! I am so glad you enjoyed it!
There is a second part planned that I am very slowly working my way through even if it is currently trapped in my WIP folders. Here is a little sneak peak of where I left off.
Tw for pet play and bdsm dynamics under the cut
"Well, well, well what do we have here." Sal's preformatively amused voice came from the doorway. Tommy doubled down on eating out Evan knowing exactly what is about to happen. Evan had wanted to be fucked, and instead Sal had gone to a baseball game with his brothers. Tommy is yanked back roughly by his collar.
"Bad dog. You know you aren't supposed to be on the bed."
