911 Character/Ship Weeks
Introduction
This event is run by DarkJediQueen here on Tumblr. The additional mods for the Oasis Retreat Event Server are V.Mures & Starkindler. Starkindler has also made all of the banner art for the events.
We wanted to start up events where people could do what they want without fear of being shamed for anything because we have seen how this damn fandom goes about things. This is why we consider these events the grown-up versions, and we try to be open to anyone and everyone.
Everything will be run through this blog, but you can also join our Discord to connect with other writers and attendees. You might even join one of the other events that are run through Discord as well.Â
Guidelines
Have fun! We mean that you write what you want. The prompt is there for you to interpret how you want to. We aren't going to police this at all. The world is your oyster!
Crossovers are allowed as long as the 9-1-1 character or ship is the main focus of the fic.
Fic Word Count: 1,000 is the minimum. There is no maximum.
Art: You can do what you want!
Posting: Don't post early, but we take all late submissions. You can post anywhere.Â
Tagging: Tag what you want but just make sure that things like that will make someone not want to read it are awesome to add. Hate X character and want to bash the fuck out of them? Go ahead, just tag it.
Submissions: Make your Tumblr post and tag us, or if you don't have Tumblr, there will be a submission guide where we can post it for you. If you are posting your own post, please check the submission page to see the needed info. There are also AO3 collections. This is the main collection. There will be ones for each week posted on the main prompt post that goes out.
 Rules
All participants need to be 18 and above. If you are under that, don't make it easy to figure that out. We will not reblog or show off what you write for the event if we figure out you are under the age of eighteen.Â
Write what you want. Literally. We mean that. As long as whatever you write is tagged, we don't care. We are all adults here, and that means that if we see something that we don't like, we will just close the fic and be quiet about it.
Don't be an asshole. Do not harass other participants. Doesn't matter what they write. You will act like you were all taught how to behave.Â
Have fun. This is the biggest rule of all. We want this to be fun.Â
Rules will be added to as needed so please check out the pinned post before each event starts just to be safe. We don't want to add to the rules, but we are dealing with humans who are in fandom. Some just don't know how to act.

F.A.Q.
Q: Why these characters and ships? A: Cause they are our favorite ships and characters. We are running it, and we want to have fun! That's why there are four different Choose Your Own weeks in the event.
Q: What does May count as? A: That's up to the person. She was a kid when the show started, so if you count her as both a kid and an adult, that's up to you. We don't police what people write. If you say it's for a certain week, we aren't going to do anything about it.Â
Q: Do I have to take part in each event? A: No. You can pick and choose which ones you want to do.
Q: Do I have to write or make something for each prompt for each event? A: No. You can just do one or all of them, or anywhere in between.
