not my original idea! i saw lots of ppl doing it so i decided to write one for bakugou !!
it was around 2 am when you two heard a loud thump from downstairs
you two had already fallen asleep but the sound was THAT loud
with your eyes wide open you turned to your side to see bakugou already in motion
“uhh what was that?”
“dont know. im gonna go see what the fuck that was”
“no dont go! thats so scary. what if someone broke in?”

without hesitating one bit bakugou would gallop💀 downstairs in search of the source of the sound
you’d think that he was acting a bit recklessly but he actually had everything under control
oh and if you insisted to follow him, he’d hush you and tell you to sleep
thing is, bakugou didnt want you to worry and he knew that he was able to defeat whatever it was because what smart person decide to mess with THE bakugou?
after around 6 mins, you’d hear him walk up the stairs, looking indifferent per usual
“what was it???”
“i told you to sleep! it was just our vase that got knocked over by the wind”

as he got to know you better and found out that there were actually dozens of things you would straight up refuse to eat, he’d honestly find it annoying

BUT at the same time he’d become more wary of your preferences and act accordingly
example: lets say you hate onions. if your food happens to have some chunks of it, he’d eat them for you.

he never understood the point of gacha games and was very judgemental of those who fell into a gambling loophole because he knew that he was psychologically built different from the rest
when he found out that you were a genshin impact player, he didnt think much of it. he probably didnt even know what it was tbh
whenever you’d play, he’d take a few glances here and there especially when the atmosphere in the room would change anytime you would wish
eventually his knowledge in genshin grew bigger thanks to your excessive commentary and random facts you’d tell him while doing the most random thing ever
you: “did you know that tartaglia is childe !?”
him: “what is that?”
you: “you mean WHO? he is from genshin! how do you not know this???”
him: “how would i know? i dont play that damn game”
so you decided to make him play with you ! but he wasnt too enthusiastic
“why the hell is my character so weak?!!”

regardless of your personality or appearance, competition is competition so he didnt exactly like you or dislike you
if he’d see you while he’d be on patrol or during hero gatherings/events, he wouldn’t really go out of his way to greet you or anything like that
you’d always be the one initiating conversations and plans but he’d probably double think about your intentions

OMG IM SO SORRY sometimes i leave requests unposted on draft form because i feel unsatisfied and think abt returning to them later once motivation flows in and i end up forgetting a lot of the times. im really sorry about this!!!
despite bakugou seeming like an egotistical son of a poop with his confidence over the roof, it’s honestly all just a play :(
even when he talks to midoriya about how he’s able to beat him despite midoriya possessing ofa is actually him reflecting his fear/insecurity of midoriya winning against him in the future
or whenever he makes fun of someone for not knowing something, it’s him not wanting to show that side of him where he actually doesnt know anything
so yeah, bakugou is actually a very insecure person and i feel like he’d open up to you mostly because he knows that you wouldnt leave him or judge him about his weaknesses
sometimes he’d go “fuck it up” whenever he experiences slumps during his training since he’s always trying to discover new techniques for his quirk
im sure that he has broken down a couple of times whenever his arm would begin hurting due to the pressure of his blasts
whenever his mood would worsen due to his insecurities, he’d go to bed much earlier. not because he wants to sleep but because he just wants to get away from everything
he’d just be staring at the ceiling with a frown on his face because he knows that sulking wont help him improve or fix things so then he begins feeling angry at himself for being unproductive
bakugou definitely needs you next to him to remind him that its okay to fail sometimes and its okay to take a moment to breathe properly
most of the times you’d cling onto his arm or hug him from the back if he’s lost in his thoughts and itd surprise him everytime
“how are you feeling?”
“what are you doing?”
“dont change the subject- i know there is something wrong. lets talk about it please?”
of course he’d refuse to talk at all and reassure you that he’s fine or just tired but you’d always break his shell because cmon. youre not some ordinary person- youre his s/o and that says a lot already
if things flow out nicely, he’d begin venting to you, sometimes (rarely) releasing the built up tears in his eyes
bakugou doesnt want advice. he has the solution to all of his problems but he needs a reminder to reassure him that he’s doing the right thing in the right pace. he just wants someone to talk to about whatever and share all of his feelings with no filter
