Just realized literally one second ago that today is the anniversary of The Wonderful Wizard of Oz, and I refuse to miss another anniversary of a piece of fiction I adore (im so sorry Book of Life). I’ve been really dedicated to doing actual character designs for the book characters, so I’ll share those here!

Not finished with Ozma yet, but here’s some explorations I did for these characters that I’m very proud of! Below are just self-indulgent. I personally am gonna push the time of the original story to America’s 1920s, which I feel widens the world to more ethical exploration ( Wickeds racial themes have kinda inspired me, and I really wanna be respectful about exploring those topics and how Dorothy conquers them). The new dates, got me to put scarecrow in Roaring 20s dresses, darlings literally so gorgeous and his husband approves ❤️

(Forgot to mention…I have a little obsession with the crackship of Marshall Mallow and Captain Fyter…)
