Casper's July Tickle Requests: CLOSED! I'm now working on fulfilling requests. :)
So... y'all know I don't take commissions or typically do art trades. I love making gift art, but only when I can work at my own pace. The only exception I've made to this in the past was for Art Fight; I like to set aside July to really focus on drawing for others, and I would always prioritize revenging attacks.
But, I am not doing Art Fight this year.
There are a lot of reasons, but the main one is that I don't really have the bandwidth right now to draw for random people outside of the tickle community. I like doing general art sometimes, but I'm not a general artist. I'm a tickle artist. That's where my passion is, and I'd rather focus on drawing for people in my own community this July.
So, how can you get art from me next month? I am so glad you asked! Before we get to the submission process, let's talk about guidelines.

Guidelines
If you would like art from me next month, please be sure to read and abide by these guidelines. If I receive submissions that go against these guidelines, they will be deleted.
I expect my followers to be 18+ and have an age in their bio. If I check your blog and this is not the case, your request will be deleted.
Requests should be sent using my ask box. Every request MUST have a blog name associated with it, no exceptions! You may submit requests anonymously, but you MUST sign the end of your ask with a blog name. This is to accommodate people whose tickle blog is a sideblog. Requests with no blog name will be deleted.
Requests are for YOUR OCS ONLY. That means you may not submit requests for fandom characters OR other people's OCs. You MAY submit OCs that are based on/exist within a fandom universe, as long as you accept that I may not be familiar with the source material. (It's very unlikely that I will have a problem with the source material, but if I do, I will just (politely) reach out and ask you for a different OC.)
Requests should include a reference image (or multiple, if you are submitting multiple characters.) I will accept a detailed description instead, but I would greatly prefer an image (even if it's not strictly a ref sheet.)
Requests must include a filled-out questionnaire. You may submit one questionnaire for all of your OCs if the same answers apply. If not, please submit separate questionnaires.
I will not be drawing nudity for this event. My opinion is that all nudity is inherently nonsexual, but Tumblr does not share this opinion. Please do not submit characters (of any gender) with exposed nipples, butts, or crotch (unclothed furries with fur covering their bodies are fine.)
Characters must BE and LOOK LIKE adults. I am fine with toony characters like Pokemon, Mr. Men show style, etc but please do not submit characters that look like human/humanoid children (even if they're a demigod who's 3000 years old, or whatever.)
I am very sensitive to horror and gore. Please do not submit characters who are horror themed. I am totally fine with characters who have scars on their bodies, missing limbs, etc, but please no open wounds or body horror. If you're really not sure, send me a message and we'll talk.
I may simplify complex clothing or complicated machinery (if your character is a mech.) I am not good with high-detail work, I'm sorry. If this is going to offend you, please don't submit a character with high detail.
No ferals, please. I'm not good at drawing animals and I'm not really comfortable drawing feral animals in tickle scenes, either. Anthros are fine, of course.
Requests will be open until the end of June. On July 1st, I will stop taking requests until I am done working on the queue. If I get them all done before the end of July, I may re-open, but do not count on this happening! Get your request in ASAP if you want to participate.
This is absolutely NOT required, but if you'd like to draw a tickle piece in response to the one I draw for you, you're welcome to!
By default, I will be posting your ask along with my artwork in response to it. If you would like me to post only the artwork and tag you instead of posting your ask, please say so!
Questionnaire
This questionnaire is to help me understand what you're comfortable with. My goal is to get to as many requests as possible, which is why these pieces will not be fully rendered, nor will I be accommodating complex scenarios. You are essentially giving me your character to draw in a tickle scene -- that's it. How much coloring and shading is done will depend on the complexity of the sketch; I plan to spend around the same amount of time on each piece.
You may submit as many characters as you want, but I will only be drawing ONE of them -- of my choosing. If you have a specific character you want me to draw, please only submit that character.
You have the option of choosing one of my characters to interact with yours, or I can do a ghost hand/feather/tool situation. Here are the characters of mine you can pick from: Casper, Avery, Finn, Silas, Serif, or Newton.

A nightmare wakes Risio up in the middle of the night, and he has to reassure himself that everything is as it should be before returning to bed.
I've been hemming and hawing about posting this one for a while because it's a little sappy and dramatic, but it's also cute so I'm posting it!

Risio awoke with a start in the dark.
He couldn’t immediately remember the details of the dream, but his body seemed to remember. He breathed heavily, and his heart— or whatever was in there— pounded in his chest. Worst of all, he felt a deep, directionless sense of loss. He had tears in his eyes.
It was not a feeling he was entirely unaccustomed to. He had nightmares, had as long as he could remember. They seemed to have gotten worse since arriving in the gaol, though. He’d been meaning to bring it up to Ignatius, but couldn’t figure out how. It seemed silly, not worth mentioning.
Besides, night terrors didn’t really suit him.
He just sat there in the silent darkness, clutching his chest, catching his breath. Straining to remember what the dream had been about.
Details came back to him in brief flashes; he was running through the woods— no idea why, where to, or from what— and the others were running with him. He was trying to keep up, but the foliage got thicker and thicker and before long he lost sight of all of them. He yelled for them, but no sound came out.
Just thinking about it made a lump form in his throat. It shouldn’t have been that upsetting, but for some reason it was. He couldn’t shake the feeling of terror, grief, panic that still coursed through him. It made his hands shake.
He wasn’t getting back to sleep. His head was a cacophony of directionless, confusing anxiety, and every time he closed his eyes he was afraid that when he opened them he’d be sitting in the forest amongst the thick ensnaring foliage, scared and alone.
He got out of bed. Stupid as it was, he needed to check. Make sure the others were asleep in their beds, that everything was okay. That the dream really wasn’t real. Or a bad omen, or whatever.
Greary was the next door down. Sleeping peacefully, long raven hair coiling prettily on his sheets and pillow. Peet’s room was across the hallway from Greary, and when Risio peeked in he was snoring softly and hugging his pillow.
Mirt’s room was directly across the hallway from Risio’s, and Risio breathed a sigh of relief when he opened the door to his usual nighttime tranquility. He smiled in his sleep.
They were all fine. Everything was normal. Nothing to worry about.
He stood there and stared at Mirt as he slept for a moment. Hoped his comfort and calm might rub off on him somehow.
“You good, Risio?” The sleeping monster murmured suddenly, without opening his eyes. Risio froze.
Mirt cracked one eye just a sliver.
“Something wrong, mate?” He asked sleepily, but in the same sweet, easygoing way he always would. Risio felt his face get hot; he didn’t want the others to know he was doing this. But now Mirt knew, and he was still feeling shaken enough that he was tempted to say something.
“N-nothing. A nightmare. Just checkin’ on ya.” He huffed out a short, irritated breath. “Go back to sleep.”
Mirt let his response hang in the cool night air for a moment before responding, and for a second Risio thought he had, indeed, fallen back asleep.
“Mm… a nightmare?” He slurred. “C’mere.” He patted the spot on the pillow next to him, his movements sluggish and uncoordinated.
“Whaddaya think I am? A little kid?” Risio raised his voice just above a whisper, feeling his cheeks get hotter. “It was just a nightmare. Just a nightmare.”
Mirt didn’t respond, just pulled his arms from beneath the sheets and held them outstretched in Risio’s direction. Eyes still closed, still smiling sweetly.
Risio let out a tense sigh. He was tired. He was cold.
He wordlessly climbed into Mirt’s bed, into Mirt’s arms, under the blanket. Mirt’s claws came to rest on his back, just barely reaching around his trunk. He rested his cheek on Mirt’s gracile chest, felt tears well in his tired eyes again.
He was expecting Mirt to say or do something else, but he seemed to have quickly drifted back off to sleep.
It was an odd feeling; was it relief? Fear? He’d felt briefly like he’d never see Mirt again, and now he was sleeping in his arms. Happy? He was so happy and so sad at the same time. His heart— or whatever was in there— hurt, his chest felt tight.
He sniffled, and tears burned his eyes. To his mortification, he felt Mirt’s palm gently rub up and down his back.
“It’s okay…” He whispered, so softly it was barely audible even in the silence of the night.
Risio woke up giggling.
“Whahaha— waiheeheet!” He squeaked, disoriented and groggy. Mirt gently poked his belly a few more times under the covers.
“Lookie here, I’ve got a little stowaway, haven’t I?” Mirt teased playfully. “When’d you sneak in here?” Risio cackled, kicked his feet and rolled back and forth on Mirt’s bed.
“Mihihihirt you ahahahass!”
“I suppose I shouldn’t question such a lovely gift, hmm? Not every day I get breakfast in bed…” Mirt made a silly om-nom-nom sound, buried his velvety snout in Risio’s neck and nipped at him softly with his lips. Risio screamed with laughter, but part of him melted.
“Love to start my day off right with a lovely little salad, I do! Mm mm mm!”
“GAHAHAD SHUT UHUHUHUP! Get OFFA me!”
Risio could only barely get the words out before his squirming sent him tumbling mercifully onto the floor. Mirt giggled giddily, peered over the side of the bed with a sheepish grin.
“Whoopsie.”
Risio groaned, propped himself up on his elbows.
“Aw, cram it. That was on purpose.”
“I didn’t expect you to squirm off the bed!” Mirt chortled, offering him a hand. “Whaddaya say we go get ourselves some proper breakfast, eh?”
