Because I like to pick creative people's brains and want to (pardon the pun) revive ask box culture, here's an ask game for resus writers and readers. I'm using resus as an umbrella term that includes CPR, Heimlich, and medfet, and writer refers to any kind of creative writing including text-based roleplay. This game is for everybody!
Guidelines and Disclaimers
When you reblog this, indicate which set of questions you're open to receiving.
Send an ask to whoever you reblog from.
If you receive a question that feels too personal, there's no pressure to answer it. If you sent an ask and the person hasn't responded, don't spam their ask box.
Be respectful of people's differences.
These questions are designed to spark discussion about kink and sexuality, and adults are the target audience. I generally operate under the assumption that minors are present in all online communities, especially anonymous sites like Tumblr. I can't stop you from reading or interacting with this post, but I will remind you that there can be legal consequences for both parties if a minor and an adult are discussing sexually explicit topics, and that everyone regardless of age is responsible for curating their online experience.

10. Are you worried about experiencing (or have you already experienced) stigma for indulging your resus kink through creative writing? How did you cope with that, and what inspired you to keep writing/posting anyway?
11. What advice do you have for people just starting to explore creative writing, in general or as an outlet for kinks and fetishes?
12. Share a few lines from a WIP (work in progress) if you have one, or tell us about an idea or project you’re excited to start working on.

E. How did you first come across resus writing? Were you specifically seeking it out, introduced to it via neighbouring kinks, or did you stumble upon it accidentally?
F. Is there anything you’ve learned about yourself or about kink and sexuality more broadly from reading resus erotica? Share those insights if you’re comfortable doing so.
G. What is your favourite/most memorable interaction you’ve had with a resus writer? If you haven’t interacted directly with any writers yet, what is one thing you’d like them to know?
My ask box will be open until June 30, 2026. I will accept questions from both the writer and reader lists. I will try to send asks to everyone who reblogs from me, but can't promise a specific timeline for asks or responses.
