just saw a video of me as a little kid speaking english and holy shit i was so much more british than i remember. i sound like a little victorian orphan boy oh my fucking god. i could have sworn i've always had an american accent i actually went into shock listening to my squeaky little tea-drinker voice

it completely baffles me when artists show their sketches and they're doing some crazy anatomy theory whatever bullshit where they draw like invisible geometric shapes that help them get the proportions right for some body parts and shit. meanwhile this entire time i've been out here winging it based on vibes and vibes alone, like some schmuck. how big should a character's head be compared to the rest of their body? fuck if i know but this feels about right to me

people on the internet keep using "bad person" as an umbrella term for "people who did regrettable things in the past", "people with flaws", "people who are annoying, mean, or just generally upsetting to be around" and "terrible people who are actually evil and committed atrocities" and i think that is a very very dangerous generalization that we need to stop doing because some of these kinds of people are redeemable and forgivable and some most definitely aren't
