N’s Evolution part 1 - Part Two
transsexual summer
i laid my head in her lap and she started rubbing and scratching it in gentle rhythmic circles and within minutes i was on the verge of falling asleep. i groggily looked up and said “this feels so nice, i almost fell asleep” and she looked down and said “i did a bunch of research into scalp stimulation and found the most comforting speeds, forces, and patterns, and then i practiced on different girls until i had dialed in an effective technique”
Not that I think all marriages are doomed but when deciding who to marry you should ask yourself “is this someone I’d want to divorce?” As in, is this someone I believe would be mature and fair, even when they’re upset and don’t particularly like me at the moment. Is this someone I could continue to trust while going through an adversarial process? And if the answer is no, don’t marry them.

so much fiction is made by fundamentally knowledgeless people. Fantasy whose authress knows nothing of history, biology, or anthropology, only other fantasy. Cyberpunk writress with no understanding of political theory, sociology, or technology.
We increasingly live in a world without primary sources, or even secondary sources as the average creative is increasingly uncultured, only tertiary; ideas laundered until any context is sanded away. The median artist a dog that's never eaten food, only other dogs' vomit, some only their own vomit as franchises stumble through decades of self-referential undeath.
So much vitriol against AI art is that it is the previous norm at its most efficient: a mechanical dog that can imagine other dogs' vomit and conjure her own without first heaving.
the well-conceived advice of “write what you know” to create grounded stories breaks down when the only humanity the writer has experienced is highly processed, refined products designed with primary consideration for profit generation.
Just in case
I’m actually going to reblog a thing just because this is really important.
As someone who has epilepsy and used to have several grand mal seizures a day, I’d also like to add that “offer help” can range anywhere from keeping the person calm to explaining to them where they are and what they were doing to even just telling them they should sit and rest for a while longer (lack or coordination is common, and it can be hard to walk straight or see clearly).
It’s okay for them to take up to a half hour to fully regain their bearings and sort out what they were doing prior to the seizure. Just answer any questions calmly and be there for support.
If they come around and you start to panic or shake them or ask them what the heck is wrong with them they are going to freak out and panic too.
I cannot stress it enough that this is bad.
If someone has a seizure and they come out of it, please. please stay calm. They are likely disoriented and confused, even if it’s only for a minute or two, and you don’t want them panicking on top of that because they can have another seizure as a result.

i realize this is more or less all happening on bluesky but holy fucking shit fuck hbomberguy and the leeches of breadtube that are trouncing around with him rn. jesus christ
hbomberguy and co are over on bluesky pedojacketing patricia taxxon because she called him out for underpaying her as a freelancer for several years (including when she was a fucking teenager)
(and their reasoning is "a tweet patricia taxxon made like 2 weeks ago")
So they acknowledge that they screwed her over but justify it because "she deserved it". Breadtubers genuinely think they deserve to live lol.

“bits to use in everyday conversations”
overpowered little sister is basically the most ideal thing to be
the double entendre wasn’t on purpose but i do mean it both ways
feel like it bears worth mentioning, since im reblogging a lot of adjacent posts
i did not like tara knights "dump your puppygirl" and i dislike the discourse almost as much
theres plenty in there worth saying, worth discussing, worth reflecting on. but i think the importance of it all is undercut by the venom lacing so many lines in the piece. theres also plenty in there worth criticizing, worth arguing, worth acknowledging the harm it could cause. but i think the attacks on taras character as a person do no good here, and i dont think some of her responses act as a reasonable defense against valid complaints and concerns
im a trans woman. im not white. im disabled. i have been the mark, i resonate with the feelings of being pressured to comply. to serve. i have also been some version of the puppygirl, and not by choice, not on purpose. i rely on others because i have to, i wish so desperately to not have to. i try my hardest to not have to, and that causes me to suffer worse. the puppygirl is how i fear everyone sees me, the article felt like my worst nightmare for both halves of my being. when i was the mark i worked hard despite not having the power or the energy to and i escaped, when i was some version of the puppygirl i was abused and abandoned and alone, no matter what i did to be better for my partners. regardless of my role i always lacked power and agency over my own life. i lacked control over my circumstances, how im perceived, even my identity. but have i ever truly been the puppygirl? have i ever been manipulating my partners, stealing away their time and their money, maliciously pressuring what i want out of them? no. i dont think so. but my worst exes would tell you yes, and i wonder why that is. is it because its true or because they could? is it because they needed to moralize and rationalize their abuse and abandonment of a lover in need? this is something that haunts me. "dump your puppygirl" seems to think the answer is that i was acting as a misogynist, as an abuser of some kind of privilege i dont have. but i dont think its that simple.
now im with partners who understand my needs and work hard for me because they want to, because they love to. they love me for me, and not for what i can provide them. i still push myself beyond my ability despite their insistence i dont need to anymore. because their love is not conditional. im still not used to it.
ultimately what i want to get at here is that being disabled, having needs that must be met by others, is not inherently bad. it doesnt make you evil. but youre not immune to doing harm. and thats what the article is supposed to be about, but again i feel that point gets buried under the vent of it all. i feel like it does more harm than good. and so i dont like it. i dont hate tara knight, i dont think this undoes all the good things shes written, but i do think this has soured me from wanting to read more of her work. at least for the time being. ive got a lot more complicated feelings about it, but as this is effectively my first ever text post, i dont wanna get into it. i think my thoughts here are long enough as is
i dont think tara deserves to be cancelled, nor do i really think she is being currently, and i dont think her responses are really getting to the core of the criticisms aimed at her, either.

I love this video so much it brings me so much joy every time it crosses my dash again
obliterate the concept of "spoiling" a child. excise it from your lexicon like a cancer. that is some "the opposite of sin is suffering" Puritan ass bullshit. it is not possible to ruin a person through an overabundance of kindness.
