I had always thought "Caine" was an excessively original way to that name.  Just last night I learned there's some concept art of his that's so off the fans dubbed it "Eniac," and it hit me! https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ENIAC It's been so long since I heard that name I mixed it up with HARDAC from Batman the Animated Series episode 38, 39 & 62 ("Heart of Steel," parts 1 & 2 and "His Silicon Soul").  Still I can only imagine that this is old news by now.
