One thing I absolutely adore about Steven Universe is that plus-sized characters are never treated as unlovable or unattractive. In a lot of cartoons, bigger characters are treated like a joke/gag instead of a person, especially if the character is a woman. But in Steven Universe, there are so many plus-sized characters and none of them are treated poorly because of their size, and I think that's really special to see, especially with a lot of the pressures put on girls from young ages to be skinny :)

I find it so funny that the rpf section of the beatles fandom refers to the wife ships as yuri versions of fab 4 ships, even if the wives aren't similar to their husbands. Like I guess Cynthia x Jane is the yuri version of mclennon...I guess........

I love basing appearances for S.E. Hinton fanfic off of the movies because it's so funny to imagine two dudes in the same city who look exactly the same and are around the same age
