lol yeah, every website you visit can see your ip address and owners of sites can see them. your ip address doesnt mean much anyways haha but i appreciate the concern
Unlike tumblr we believe you can actually use a VPN on sites like this without getting banned (tumblr just...catches them in a spam filter iwrc), for anyone that is still concerned about ip addresses. The problem with that is you have to trust the VPN you are using because they're effectively doing what your ISP normally does.
So yeah OP is right all websites see your IP address, here's information on that kind of stuff from a quick search:

yeah. Really the only issue youd think with this would actually be that using a VPN lets people get around bans haha (but they can be dealt with pretty easily anyways...)
