Camelworks is one of the biggest TES content creators on YT. His phone was stolen, and his Google account was used to "break Google's Terms of Service". What Terms of Service? Who knows! Apparently not Google!

As a result, the account from which he ran his YT channel, his socials, his Discord community, his AdSense, etc. has been permanently disabled.

And now, after over a decade as a content creator, he has to start over.

Reasons This Makes Me Mad:

1.) Google:

oh, we have to upload our drivers license to watch grown-up videos??? You want our phone numbers for 2-Factor Authentication? We have to verify our identity and provide banking information for AdSense??? You want our home address to make your services "more convenient"? You need our firstborn child for the privilege of sharing silly little videos??

NO. BAD. STUPID.

Not one of us is legitimately stupid enough to believe that a billion-dollar, multi-national conglomerate doesn't have A. SINGLE. PERSON?!? willing and able to jump in and "take ownership of the situation", or whatever corpo biztalk crap is going around job postings these days???? For all the data you scrape, for all the identifying information you possess on your creators, you can't verify this guy's account was temporarily stolen? They took money out of his bank account, for Christ's sake! Call his damn bank! Stop twiddling your thumbs up your asses and DO SOMETHING -- his livelihood has been destroyed, because you guys don't have backup systems????

2.) Google, part 2: Electric Chair-a-loo.

Funny, how his original channel is still up, STILL PLAYING ADS, and he's not making any money from that content anymore. Oh, and he can't access the account to have it taken down! Funny that.

Actually, no, it's not -- it's fucking THEFT.

You are farming money off his work without compensation, while he has to create a brand new channel to repost those same videos in competition with his previous channel, in competition with HIS OWN WORK, with the HOPES that he can recover financially, because, apparently, your managerial incompetence is so great that you can't re-verify his channel.

3.) Bethesda, where you at?!

Look, I'll "hee hoo, Todd Howard's jacket" with the best of 'em any day of the week, but Bethesda, you legitimately, ethically, morally, OWE THESE GUYS. If it wasn't for creators like Camelworks, FudgeMuppet, Drewmora, Imperial Knowledge, Master Neloth, Lady of Scrolls, Tamreille, EpicNate315, and countless others, you can bet your ass I would not have paid another $60-fucking-dollars to buy Skyrim on the Switch. These creators are a huge part of what's keeping you're community alive and hanging on for dear life as you resell the same game for the same price for over a decade. GET INVOLVED. THROW YOUR WEIGHT. Maybe commission some books or short stories from him! At least make some FUCKING NOISE?!? Do not allow this to become your Nth disappointment to your community! Back. Him. Up!

the way people crouch and do little bounces/bows to say hello, i’m friendly! the way they punch as a substitute for pointing or waving hello. the slow pulling out of weapon as a threat, quickly removing armor to show you are peaceful. sticking little signs in the ground and writing messages. the way people‘s avatars go still when they are thinking, or laughing so much their hands came off the keyboard. square eye contact. jumping, spinning, bobbing your head to music. punching your friend jokingly.

half of it is human perception but the other half is ways of communication we created ourselves, because people just are like that. they express themselves.
