gameoverse seems fun enough. but the cynical feminist in me can't help herself. all the male characters are like, cartoon blobs, which is contrasted strongly by the two major female characters in this pilot, both of whom are hour-glass shaped humanoid women who spend most of their screentime in swimsuits. and like that's not an outright dealbreaker but i *am* staring into the camera with my eyebrows raised.

idk i'm getting really tired of this "connecticut clark and malfina" type shit where male characters get to be Silly Abstract Little Guys but women have to be women shaped. it's this male-as-default thing that i hate where you don't need to add anything to a character design to imply male-ness but the woman better have wide hips and booba or else yknow like idk it's not outright Offensive but it is tiring

your twenties are not "late" to start hrt. that is a normal time to start hrt. your thirties are also a normal time to start hrt. your seventies are pretty late to start hrt, but not too late. like, statistically, that's at the end of the curve. but if you are not dead, it is not too late for hrt.

You can do what you want forever means literally at any point you can do it. So get to it.

“why do trans men get surprised when they transition and their friends start treating them like a gross man” its bc our transition shouldn’t make our friends lose trust in us just because of how we look and identify. its not about the man part its about the gross part. if u treat ur transmasc friends as inherently gross or dangerous the second they start transitioning, it makes it seem like u weren’t really even our friends to begin with if u don’t know us well enough that u equate us as individuals to the stereotypical man youve built in ur head.

As an older trans woman who has been there, these were never good friends. Drop them and find people who don't just grudgingly tolerate you and your transition. Find friends who will celebrate it with you. Y'all deserve better than squeamish tolerance. You aren't gross for becoming yourself. Men aren't gross. Patriarchy is. Anyone claiming otherwise is only serving the patriarchy that wants you and I to die, detransition, or disappear.
