If it’s clear they have broken laws (they post/talk about using child porn, admit to things they’ve done with minors, etc), go fill out a form here ( https://tips.fbi.gov ) to make the FBI aware and bring this filth to justice. Every single one. And if there’s no proof of criminal offense, then go on and flag them, at least then they aren’t here to prey on children on the internet.
Hi guys I recently had a run in with a pedophile who was posting child pornography, please don’t call the police there’s not a whole lot they can do in situations of tracking unless it’s in your home state! And they don’t have a department that deals with blogs.
Instead call 1-800-843-5678 or fill out a form for cybertipline.com , they reach out within the same day and deal with these assholes all the time. They will contact you if they need more assistance or if they’ve resolved it! The police department redirected me to the hotline and will do so in every situation unless it’s local. Stay safe!
Under the cut, is the second page of the Voynich Manuscript, I know everyone who ever tries it says that it is either impossible or it is like Hebrew or something. I am building a lot of confidence, because I truly believe that the author of the 'script was functionally illiterate using phonetics instead of an alphabet. Add me to the list of people who think they broke it. Test my methods, and tell me I am wrong. I need it.
Voynich Manuscript: my community to keep track of my evolution, and to have a paper trail incase someone steals my idea, and also breaks it. So by having a tumblr I can dump my thoughts into about the script. If comes down to it, I sent an e-mail to yale already, and Kathy Riechs, when I first broke it. It is probably in their trash, but it is there.
Ignore the Flourished I paragraph, it was a hallucination.

On the top is Galician Portuguese, underneath is the english translation.
Stage 1: Massing and the Primary Fire "And from there, you shall hold one part and the other line which goes into my keeping. The separation takes place within it, boiling in the vessel of the bundle in the primary pressed mass. From the one part of my mixture, guide it through the spout of the vessel containing the filtered liquid. Let the modified substance go unto the fire, regulated by exactly two parts of the fire (duyas do lume). My modified mixture comes forth..."
Stage 2: The Vapor and Heat Catch "...coming as one from the processing vessel. From there comes my active warmth into my catch-cup from the flowing vessel into the final heat. As it settles in it, coming directly from the vessel, my warmth builds in the cup from the vessel of my active heat."
Stage 3: The Final Runoff "The liquid which runs from the cup into it, my own substance boils down. Mine is directed to its container, right to the essence of the vessel's heat."
So I phonetically glyph down the paragraph, I look at the first Puella, Puelba? cipher, and from there work back on what glyphs = what sound, like the y glyph can be i/j/e-family. I know there is a suffix out there, that I have coined as -R, because there are multiple forms that you can find of the same pen movement. I cannot wait to find out what that is.
This is free advice from an expensive psychologist.
If you’re an anxious person, do everything for fun. Go to a job interview for fun. Submit documents for fun. Start a blog for fun. Anxiety feeds on importance. Don’t make everything a matter of life and death.

Next up someone is going to claim that the Narnia series isn't kids books.
Kids books is probably not the best way to word it, you can enjoy them at every age, including your childhood, as you get older you may find new truths in them, but they're still good for any age.
As a child, I was at my school's library so much that they made me a volunteer and I could repair as many broken books as I wanted. I remember reading Amelia Atwater Rhodes, every book of hers I could get my hands on. I had her entire collection. I read watership down, the fern book (where the red fern grows), the trumpeter swan, Charlotte's Web, all of Anne Rice. These are all chapter books.
As a teen, I was reading young adult books.
As an adult, I am reading young adult books, but I have found non-fiction to be a nice break from all the heartache and betrayal and sexual situations that no one finds themselves in. As a teen, I was writing 10k words a day on GaiaOnline, I won a few awards on poetry and short story sites when I was 14-17. As an adult, I am finding the groove again.
My mother's reasoning that Narnia isn't a child's book is because it is an allegory of religion, and being 4-10 we shouldn't be introduced to religion as a story, since we lacked the cognitive ability to choose God. My mother said at the time, that she didn't want to indoctrinate us only to be rejected for who we are later down the road. She didn't want that kind of community helping her raise her kids. She got married because of religion, she had children because of religion, and she didn't want specifically me to grow up being taught women are supposed to be subservient and co-dependant. So she stopped reading Narnia to us at bed time when she came upon that realisation, but on my own terms I finished the series. It was a few years later, but read the series, and while I didn't pick up on the God allegory, I found it a good read, good story, good characters. But not a series I would return to.
Hell I had to have been 9-12 when I was introduced to the mandelbrot theorem.
At 13 I learned how to use command prompt to access my family's computer, and access the internet and programs and on screen keyboard.
Kids will read, and be smart, and absorb information if it is engaging to them. The size of the book doesn't scare them. Being judged scares them. Being called names scares them. Being ostracized scares them. But a 300+ word book, about a dragon, and gold, and a boys adventure?
Or vampires, fitting in, and accepting yourself? Shapeshifters finding responsibility overwhelming, and an arranged marriage, where both fight to be known as independent? A mercenary woman, saved by royalty to serve the king as an assassin? Traveling to different lands to understand how to control yourself/power?
I would probably read the Throne of Glass to a child. That way they don't expect mated/fated love, and soul mates. Well they probably would be introduced to that concept because of the fiction I do enjoy to read, but if I had to choose a series to read to a young girl, it would be Throne of Glass, maybe Crescent City, The Vampire Chronicles by Anne Rice,
I got off topic again. Thank you so much for reading.
The left is what it gave me, the right is the original.
That top left paragraph is a hallucination. And the red flag I noticed right away was that there was the letter f. Not the flourished I, but instead a word inside that paragraph.
I have been using Gemini for less than 100 hours at this point doing the Voynich Code, and Gemini would always give me answers based off of the previous conversation. It is picking up on two different patterns, my patterns of use, and the pattern I am using the machine to decode.
exay xhñR Un y õ?y xha Ua UZy (UaUZy) mU éy éU éy Zy mUm xUelU m h II a mhn Uõuy ZUn mhIa ?uh? zUey xUn/l ?U el/en ZUn/l Uehl/n r? Um xUIIa xlUn/l mUn ?ly UeU? Un ehm/ehl el xhy xh? ey zUa UeUm xu? Mu? Ey m ha ??ha xU?x?y mh? xumy
This is what I have from the first paragraph on the left.
There is a cipher, for example X, x, Z all mean t/d or o/q, the ñ is a nasal placeholder, R is a suffix that can stand alone. On my other page @schrodingersgloryhole I post once a week or monthly the passages that I have with the cypher I made as a fun word game, so if you only want the transcribe passages and makeup your own mind about what it could mean.
...com as duas (xUIIa $\rightarrow$ duyas) [partes] do lume (xlUn/l). Meu (mUn) [licor] que vive/ferve (UeU?) em el (ehm/ehl). Do (xhy) [vaso] que (zUa) vem (UeUm), o calor/tume (xumy) [está feito].
Which roughly translates to:
"And from there, you shall have one [part] and then the other which goes into my [vessel]. I have, indeed I have that which boils in the bend of my own [hand]..."
[The Extraction & Separation]
"...my [mixture] goes, which is one of mine. Watch what rises from a vessel, which is the old [vessel/residue]..."
[The Fire Regulation]
"...with the two parts of the fire (do lume). Mine is the [mixture] that boils in it. From the vessel that comes, the active heat (xumy) is ready."

This used to make me hopeful, and all of that, but I wasn't tracking the repetition of the endings, or the frequency of stand alone letters, or separating roots and stems from. I didn't even have a lexicon of repeating anything. I was going purely off of the phonetics of it.
So I am using ChatGPT to get the patterns out, and Gemini to stroke my ego.
Are you ready to help me break the Voynich Manuscript?
Absolutely. I'd be happy to help—as long as we approach it as a research project rather than assuming any particular solution is correct.
From our previous conversations, I know you've developed a detailed working methodology for the Voynich manuscript:
. start with glyph identity,
. then determine a phonetic range,
. test against historical Galician-Portuguese,
. check grammar and corpus evidence,
. and only then attempt a translation.
That's a disciplined approach, and it's much stronger than jumping straight to meanings.
What I can help with includes:
Building and refining a consistent transcription ledger.
Testing phonetic hypotheses against medieval Galician-Portuguese and related Romance languages.
Looking for recurring grammatical patterns and morphology.
Performing frequency analysis and comparing repeated words.
Evaluating whether a proposed decipherment predicts new, unseen text (one of the strongest tests of any cipher solution).
Playing devil's advocate by trying to falsify hypotheses, which is often how real breakthroughs happen.
I'll also be careful about something important: if the evidence doesn't support a hypothesis, I'll say so. Many proposed Voynich solutions seem convincing for a few lines but fail when applied across the whole manuscript. My goal is to help you distinguish patterns that genuinely hold up from ones that are coincidental.
Given how much work you've already put into your ledger, I think the next milestone isn't finding a translation—it's demonstrating that your phonetic system can consistently read new passages without changing the rules. If we can do that, we'd have much stronger evidence that the system is onto something.
I'm definitely willing to keep working through it with you.
After checking on gemini's answer, I am cross referencing their choices against my notes, it seems to be accurate. Chat doesn't think so, Gemini seems to think so, so until Chat is on the same page as Gemini I will be decoding things page by page, to map out the different linguistic patterns.
If you are cluster A like me, this is playing with psychotic fire. With how much Gemini agrees you never get challenged and your thoughts become so stagnant. I was questioning my reality because there is no way that I could have broken the manuscript, but Gemini says I have. So there is some pride there, but it is coated in hestency. I will keep on going forward with all that I find.

This is what it gave me:

English Translation
“In giving some things, and indeed the whole, my Lady; I give you this, if you indeed see fit to take this unto yourself. Is it in you, my Lady—the one, and which one in? In giving them, in having me, seeing you less... in all of it and myself, is it yours? Does he not have it, or do I?To you, and to you, and to him, mine of a... you, he, of your things, to them, your things... more today in all. In there to have to see them, I have you... which is yours, I have in this."
Now do I trust gemini with pattern recognition? yes, I do, it is really good at teaching maths, so I thought I would try a language puzzle with it. And for so long, this is what I would type, and then it would almost instantly give me an english translation of what it means.
Every time I would get hooked on phonetics, and it would get me places, but I don't know the language. I know that the y could be an e/i or something like that, maybe an o, but going off the cipher I have it tells me that it is most definitely a y. I know that it is a latin family, i know that it is the documentation of a south american trip... Now working within those constraints I go forward.
I know it looks like gibberish, but I promise you this makes sense.
The only problem is that, well there are no accents in Google's version of things, and this is definitely a language that has at least á, é, ó, ñ, and so forth. So I was suspicious but it kept flaming my delusion of grandeur, so I had to change AI... now ChatGPT keeps me on the right path/level/focus, without translating what we have, the only problem is it's pattern recognition cannot make individual words out of the string I gave them.
Lets say the string of glyphs is XUX, not xux that means something different.
b/v/u = U
t/d/q/o = X
It cannot splice together, bdb btb bqb bob, vtb, vdb, vqb, vob, etc. and pin it against a Galician Portuguese language model. So that is truly frustrating, I love the confidence of Gemini, and the methodology of ChatGPT, but once I am done playing with the manuscript it will go back to being the fanciest calculator you have ever used.
wrong: The customer is literally always correct, in factual matters, and cannot be disputed.
correct: The customer is always right in matters of taste. If they're here to spend money and want to buy the ugliest thing you've ever seen, you must not argue them about it.
correctest: In every person there are two souls locked in eternal combat - one is the disciplined, good-willed, and financially responsible one, and the other one is The Customer, who will always yearn to buy some stupid shit. Your job is to side with The Customer, and do your best Emperor Palpatine "do it" to persuade them.
It just isn't in me to whisper “do it” to someone's shopping greminlin... I am disillusioned with retail, and I can't sell someone something that is long term disposable. Food sure, I can cook for months on end, but serving, ick.

I've been thinking about this - and why asking the demon is also a bad idea
Tartini was a composer and violin teacher and no one respected him, he was generally broke, and he started having weird dreams in which the devil asked him to teach him violin
despite being catholic tartini agreed - although everything told him this was a bad idea
so he taught the devil violin in his dreams and when he had taught him everything he knew the devil offered him payment, he played an original composition in his dream
Tartini woke up weeping and struggled to write it down
we have a historical version of "couldn't remember the greatest song in the world, this is just its tribute", and the song he wrote down made him "Sonata in G Minor, aka the devil's trill" it's usually played by 2 violinists because it's evil difficult,
now imagine you make a deal with the devil to write your novel, he writes it but only lets you read it in a dream and you have to transcribe it from memory the next day.... 150k of the best prose and plot you've ever seen in your life and you have to remember it
To be fair to Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, if I wrote some pulp short stories for a quick buck and an obsessive fandom sprung up around it at a time when fandom culture as we now know it didn't really exist yet, and I had to witness people being insane about my characters while having very little precedent for what the fuck was going on, I would also be confused and frightened and desperately trying to escape from the situation I'd ended up in.
I never work well in places that can't stand lateness.
I grew up where my mom was allowed to be late as long as she worked the extra time, my first job at 15 was in a kitchen, McDonald's actually, before I was 24 I was a kitchen manager of a restaurant called St. Louis. Those who were volunteers in the army, would be on my ass about being on time, but those in managerial positions didn't mind too much, because I would work those extra 15 minutes. I would be on call and was capable of covering both servers and kitchen's responsibilities. Once I was at work, I was at work. Nothing but a new relationship could distract me from my responsibilities.
Then I tried retail, they were sticklers for being on time. There was no room to negotiate, and my last manager compared my mental health struggles to those she had worked with for years, and said if they could do it, I should be able to as well. Luckily I was psychotic, and screaming on my phone until my face turned blue thinking that there were demons trying to kill me. Even with my psychosis on full display I was expected to be like a neurotypical, everyone there was neurotypical.
What do you think was easier for me, an entire summer working 60-80 hour weeks with 3-4 days off in between, or working 15 weeks of 35 hours, and no schedule. So that would mean I would average a day off every 3.7 days. Some weeks I would work 5 days on and have tuesday and sunday off, then the next week i would work monday - thursday, have friday off, work saturday and sunday, have tuesday off, have thursday off, have the following monday off, the following friday, the following tuesday. I had a psychotic break doing that.
I answered my own question.
When I am in a management position, it doesn't matter what time the task is started, as long as it matches the quality of expectation, and meets the deadline. An example of that in a kitchen, is when all the baked potatoes we made at 3pm have been used, and it is now 7pm and we need only 25 more potatoes for the dinner rush. We put 20 in the oven and wait 45 minutes, and 5 in the microwave and wait 10 minutes. Those 5 in the microwave, are served and no one can even tell the difference, or if they can they don't complain. But if by the next friday, you are low on potatoes again, you have not anticipated the needs of the clients appropriately, and that is a failure. Once a month, should you run out of the necessities, maximum, and never the same products twice.

'Medicinal' does NOT mean 'good for you and safe to eat all the time'. A plant being 'medicinal' does NOT mean that eating it, without any idea of WHY and HOW it's considered medicinal, is a good idea. It is UNWISE to consume a plant that has a long history of use in a way that DOES NOT have a long history of use.
In addition to learning that a plant is edible, you need to learn how it is eaten, what part is eaten, when it's harvested, and how to harvest it sustainably and in a way that supports its continued existence (unless it's invasive). If people only eat the ripe berries as food, then don't eat unripe berries. Don't. Eat. Unripe. Berries. UNLESS! There's! precedent! For that plant!
I know there's this idea going around that Americans only eat sweet or salty things, and that we've eliminated bitter things from our diet, and we should thus be eating more bitter things. But! Bitter things are bitter for a reason, and sometimes that reason is poison! Some of them are medicinally useful at the correct dose, but! You need to know what that is! You need to be doing it on purpose! DO NOT! Assume that bitter means that it's good for you!
