His first 10k would be taxed the same amount as all of ours, his first 50k would be taxed at the same rate as everyone else's and so on and so on. Only the top bracket of his earnings would be taxed that high so basically people are batching about nothing. He wouldn't even be paying anywhere near as much as he should.
