An AO3 account is NOT NECESSARY to leave kudos on a work.

I just re-kudos'd a fic by opening a Private Window (the vast majority of browsers [with that feature {aka Incognito Mode, etc}] run the window without the cookies for logins) and, while visiting the fic page as a guest in that Private Window, I was able to leave Kudos. Never had to login to AO3 in any way (just had to accept AO3's T&C). Heck, I had my VPN on, too; and I use Vivaldi browser, which is very privacy-forward by default—I doubt AO3 received any information from the interaction that could be connected to my online identity.

So, for anyone fearful of having a kudos connected to their online identity, y'all can leave kudos anonymously while logged out/browsing incognito. It is safe.

And it's not like a plot point of their character, they're just treated normally or (audible gasp) appreciated for being fat

This is what I mean when I say that the research on fat bodies is lacking. We talk a lot about dieting but it takes this long for the research community to start figuring out that we’re not all the same

Hundreds gathered in San Francisco’s Chinatown as city leaders and community members celebrated the opening of the world’s first Chinese LGBTQ museum. Mayor Daniel Lurie joined supporters for the ribbon-cutting ceremony at the OUT Museum, a space dedicated to preserving and sharing Chinese queer history and culture. Now, I am not a Miromabby shipper, and I never will be. But let's get one thing straight.

This is not a love triangle. This is two boys pining over a girl. If you ship that, you're not shipping a love triangle. You ship a love croner.

A true love triangle looks like this. You can swap the arrows around, but the lines have to make a triangle. Duh.

Or, if you don't ship the love corner or love triangle, then just ship them poly. That means all of them are dating each other, not just the boys dating Mira. It means Abby and Romance are dating each other, and they're both dating Mira.

earlier this week Twitter user ppuccin0 tweeted about a fashion article that advised against tops with large floral patterns, saying the wearer was in danger of looking like a "ロマンティックおばさん," or a "romantic auntie." the tweet went viral with many agreeing that a "romantic auntie" sounded like a very nice thing to aspire to be, and some even posted illustrations or photos tagged with the trend

not to be a critic, but its crazy to me that they could not speak either TO or ABOUT the people affected by this ruling (trans girls in conservative areas) at all. a combination of transmisogyny and shitty reporting means that the takeaway from that segment seemed to be "well, it sucks, but at least blue states are still allowed to be accepting of trans youth" rather than the very real attempts to eradicate trans people from public life or the very real possibility of violent retaliation against trans girls in these states.
