Clark is so nonchalant about when he goes off to be Superman; his excuses are so flimsy you’d be amazed they work at all.

For example, here’s a scene from the episode I just listened to, The Plane to Canyon City:

Clark is in a tiny plane with like 4 other people

Plane is flying through a snowstorm, ices up, and starts to go down. Everyone’s freaking out

Clark is like “I’ll fix it” and climbs out onto the wing

Everyone inside is like “ARE YOU CRAZY?!”

They can’t see him through the snowstorm, but then the plane lands gently on the ground. The passengers think they’re going crazy

Clark pops his head back in and is like “I got rid of the ice!”

Everyone inside is like “HOW DID YOU SURVIVE?!”

Clark’s like “oh I just hung on for dear life but I’m fine now. Wow, pilot! You landed us on the only flat land for miles! Well, gotta go!”

There’s so many scenes like this.

Like when Clark said he needed some air so he goes out to stand on a balcony—in the middle of winter—and comes back an hour later, only for the woman he had talked to earlier to be like “how have you not frozen solid out there?”

Or when Clark went to leave the Daily Planet by jumping out a 20-story window and a woman just happened to come check on him after a second so she thinks he fell out the window and died.

So i was watching the olympics with my mum. And I got an idea for a fic that could take place in your nations reality au (obviously don’t feel obligated to write it)

So it could be like, the nations reacting to/being at the Olympics, I think it could be funny to see the nations having petty rivalries when one nation wins over the other :3

That is a super cute idea :3 I haven’t watched the Olympics in years 😅 so I’d have to actually watch them in order to write something, but I do love the old fics from 2014! I’d share some of my favorites by other authors but I can’t find them 😭

The character relations was amazing I loved all the characters chemistry with each other. You’re expiation for how countries react when their people are in distress is genuinely fantastic

Glad you like the fic so much! It is technically fanfic of a fanfic already since I based it so heavily on @j-ellyfish’s Nations Reality memes, so fanfic of my fanfic would be like fanfic^3. A fanfic made of a fanfic made of a fanfic.

While I don’t have any other Hetalia fics planned any time soon (mostly because I have a full time job now, unlike when I wrote Nations Reality), I do have this post where I explained the headcanons I have for this AU!

Personified would be so much harder and require 50x the amount of research, so I don’t think so. I did Nations Reality because of the memes @j-ellyfish had made. The memes (and other posts j-ellyfish had made about the show) actually provided enough structure for the fictional show for me to work with, so it strangely became a fanfic-of-a-fanfic scenario.
