Iron Man is a villain who has a palladium problem, freshly-out-of-the-ice Captain America gets tasked by SHIELD to stop him, and then they get horny about it.

I can't stress just HOW horny and out of order these two are. I can't quite believe this has no armor kink or inappropriate use of the iron man armor tag because MY GOD. I am very, very taken with Naomi's art too. Dubious consent.

Steve goes right to the hospital from having a drink with Sam, spelling out his intent to tell Tony he's in love with him even as Tony may be laid up. He’s doing this. He’s doing this. He’s really doing this. There’s a nurse securing a new cath bag to Tony when he enters - Tony, who is hooked up on various wires to keep his limbs up off the bed, save for his right, all in casts; a limp puppet. This doesn’t make any sense. Iron Man doesn’t get this hurt from falling from the sky. His armor makes sure of it. A few hours later, he and everyone else manage to come to one solid conclusion: they'd all thought someone else was taking care of it. Tony had slipped through the cracks. Who else is to take care of Tony in these trying times? Steve, of course - Steve, who can't find the right moment to say it out loud.

While I don't always remember to recommend it, I love me some hurt/comfort. And this is one of my absolute faves, not just because I was there from the beginning and ended up doing some of the beta.

Viru's art is stunning, I continue to obsess over the conversation with Sam, the bathtub scene is seared into my memory and Steve's love for Tony is just so... it makes me keysmash. If you've never read one of MJ's fics, this is a delightful one to get your teeth into.

Tony had a lot of regrets about how his Ultron Program had panned out. Losing JARVIS and unleashing a murderbot on the world was a pretty major one. Turns out that incurring Steve's wrath might even be an even bigger one.

HOOOH BOY. I sometimes wonder if the way this ends is why I'm so obsessed – I also really want more exploration of how Wanda's mind-whammy might affect Steve and Tony so this is double delicious. Dubious consent/Non-con depending on how you look at it. The art is beautiful and obscene – my fave.
