Cypher by Pepe Larraz (sketch comm at MCM May 2026)

YOU GUYSSS I truly cannot believe I am now in possession of a Pepe Larraz original let alone a Doug I can’t believe this happened!!!! When I heard he was gonna be at MCM I thought ok I’ll take one book to get signed and not get my hopes up for anything else… but we got to artist alley in the morning on Friday and the opportunity was there so I took it (and big shoutout to my bestie for enabling convincing me to get a commission from him)

When I was reading House of X it was genuinely love at first sight as soon as I saw Doug I was like I wanna know what THAT GUY’s deal is… Larraz's work is so soulful and beautiful witnessing a new Doug by him be brought into existence was genuinely such an honour what the hell

Zine specs: - A5 (14.8 x 21 cm), 44 pgs, staple stitched - digital doodles, illustrations and comics from Feb 2025-April 2026 - contains art of all 9 core New Mutants characters, albeit some more than others (charas featured the most are Doug, Dani and Illyana)

When drawing I never had any intention of printing most if not all of these pieces but I realised I had so much New Mutants art that I might as well put it into a zine, it was especially fun going back through the stuff I drew while reading the original NM run and it's really neat seeing it all together I think!!

So I put together a zine collecting some of my new mutants art from the past year and a bit (Feb 2025-now)! This was the proof copy I had made, I’ll be putting up a small batch for order hopefully in about a week or so once I’ve got the books and figured out postage charges SO this is your advance warning to keep an eye out for that if you’re interested in picking one up
