I got tagged in a post where TMNT tumblr user has been receiving some anon hate and here’s what I’ve gotta say.

How miserable do you gotta be that you almost, like, enjoy it. TO THE POINT, that you enjoy causing other people misery, both physically and through the freaking internet. There’s actually a term for this kind of behavior that I’ll get to in a bit.

Anyways, why? Is this some kind of game people like to play? Where we have to cater to your emotional needs simply because you can’t do it yourself? Do you seriously enjoy killing the light out of peoples eyes when they share something they are genuinely passionate about? Killing their spirit simply because you don’t like it?

I don’t get it, who hurt you? Like, seriously, do you need people to pin a post on their Tumblr page of resources so people like you can get help? I mean, what the fuck? I could think of an excuse as to why people behave like this. Like a shitty day at work, your past if it was filled with crap (up to your imagination on this one), or something. But as a 20, going on 21 year old person, here’s what I’ve gotta take and I’m sure people younger or older than me have heard of this.

It takes zero effort to say something nice to someone, even if it’s virtually. Zero. Cero. Nothing. Why waste your energy, your fucking five minutes to tell someone “ew, you’re gross, get some help.” I tell ya, this is self-projection right there.

Great example of this, my lovely ex (wasn’t lovely btw). When he was breaking up with me, he said I was high maintenance, naive, and I wasn’t his ideal in the beginning or in the end. I know he’s total trash, guy couldn’t complement me or take me out on a date. Couldn’t care that I remembered when we first started dating or when we kissed. Couldn’t care enough to get me flowers. Ok? This guy, cared more about his buddies and getting high, hoping to become a professional skateboarder, and have me when he felt like it. Not mature but I’d punch him if it was allowed, no consequences. Another thing, couldn’t keep his apartment (which his parents were paying for) clean. Anyways, that’s my example of self-projection there.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles are more than just a fandom, for me it’s true. Everyday I get on Tumblr to see who’s tagged me in what and what they want me to see and I enjoy every second of it. Why do you think I ask people to tag me or the other way around? These authors, these people who have been nothing but accepting of me, honestly saved me from falling into depression and despair after my break up. You’ve helped me keep my head up when I was struggling with the realization I may have ADHD/ADD. These versions of the turtles these authors have made, have helped me get through school this past term.

What do you nasty anons have to offer huh? It’s simple, nothing. I went through hell and came back. I still choose to stay nice. Now, some of you are going to say I’m not reflecting that very well. Why, you upset because I’m telling the truth? For those of you who that aren’t going to be that upset be, still get upset. Hope you,like the attention. If you like degradation, I think a lot of us would gladly hand our exes over, I know I would. Heck, you might even get along with him.

Stay away from the TMNT community if you hate it so much. This community is for everyone to enjoy and feel safe in. Not feel like shit.

Before I go and tag some people, I’d like to share what this nasty behavior y’all nasty anons be doing. It’s called disinhibition, it’s the tendency to transit messages without considering their consequences. It’s more likely to be used in mediated channels and written anonymously. I could even through another definition that describes a few of you anons. You could be called microaggresors. Micro aggression is used to communicate disrespect and disdain through subtle verbal or nonverbal displays. It’s mainly used for racial discrimination but can be used in other co-culture groups, like hate against the monster loving community as an example.

Honestly y’all, go paint, go draw, go read, go say hi to someone you enjoy seeing. Go swimming, journal, take a walk outside, literally find things that can give you things that, honestly doesn’t hurt anyone. Unless you’re Mother Nature, then that’s different.

Please, do everyone a favor, and keep scrolling until you find something you like or puts you in a better mood. Idk, I feel like someone bit your ass cheek too hard so that’s why ya anons are in a bad mood. Seriously, like, now I gotta look for ✨saucey✨ Donatello pics now because I’m feeling drained writing this.
