The lore and lineage of my Minecraft pets is ridiculous, like-
It starts on my world with my best friend.
She has six dogs and I have a singular Parrot, named Julio. All of the dogs die to one fight or another, or lava or something, but somehow Julio, who is always on my shoulder, has survived.
Then one day, me and her get in a fight over the farm (it was a disaster of a farm) and she hits me with her sword (this is normal) but Julio flies off and gets in-between us, and promptly burns to death.
On my forever world, for about two weeks, I had Nox Black Salt, Celestia, and their oldest son, Dawn Treader.
Nox black salt was blown up by a creeper while I was in the process of making my food farm, and I later got pale oak from a wandering trader and the only free ground around my base I had was where he'd died, so I framed his armor and put a grave marker.
Later I get lost on the way back from a treasure hunt and end up dying on Dawn Treader in a ridiculously deep powder snow pit. I search for days and even try a command but I was never able to find him.
On one such search for Dawn Treader two baby Grey horses spawn in next to each other so I take them home and they're named Dusk Mane and Moonshine.
Celestia, who is ridiculously fast, is the only one with diamond armor. By mounting her and shoving Moonshine into the barn, we managed to tank a hit from the wither that I proceeded to snipe and kill.
After this Celestia, who is ridiculously fast, and Moonshine, who has the maximum horse HP, have Sunflare, who is my warhorse that I took with me to the dragon fight. Yes I fought the wither before the ender dragon. I don't like elytras, I only went to the end for the dragon's XP.
At this point I have five living horses and one natural spawn pink sheep on a single player Minecraft world. This is stupid.
So I get a dog on top of all that. One of the new light brown ones. I name him cobra. I decide that he needs a green collar. The nearest desert biome is 2000 blocks away and I have no elytra.
I take Sunflare. We get the cactus, raid a village and a temple, were almost home when I spot a ruined portal. I dismount and tie her to a fence post, turn around for all of five seconds, and turn back around to witness some random zombie push her into the lava. I have no water bucket on me, she dies.
Days later I'm at the ocean, looking for prismarine to upgrade my conduit, when I come across another dog. I have no intentions of getting another dog, but a stray skeleton decides to jump me at that exact moment, dropping a single bone, and I take it as a sign. I take Coral home, and Cobra looks lonely, so I had them breed and make Viper, who looks just like her dad.
Also there's a wandering trader I keep in a hole in my basement for decoration but he's not important.
Switch over to the server I have with four of my friends. Remember the one who killed my first ever Minecraft pet, my parrot? My dear son Julio? So I have the world's ugliest and worst horse ever on the group server because it's fucking funny, his name was Moldy, and he looked it. His stats were Moldy, too. That friend and I are fighting several mobs at night because it's the early days of the server and we need string and such, and she hits a creeper towards me while I'm occupied and it kills Moldy but I survive because I've got full iron (I'm the designated caver).
But because the world we're on is pretty big I'm forced to get a replacement so I get Coca-Cola and he's my ride.
Days later I'm collecting sapling for a wood farm my other friend is building for the server, and a dog and a puppy spawn in. This is my first encounter with a naturally spawning Minecraft puppy, so I take them both home, feed it a golden dandelion to keep it a puppy forever, name the puppy Large and the dog Small. This is hilarious. The both stay in my house, but while I'm still building my barn, Coco-cola has been with them
I'm like, wow, Coca-cola looks lonely next to the dog bros, so my other other friend brings her horse, Jaquavious Artsamolosa the Third, and we breed them, creating Drimmy.
We then abandon Drimmy because being an orphan gives you character development so he's just in the barn alone while our horses go on dates to the cherry islands.
Now, if for some fucking reason you actually read this, you might be wondering if the Strange Name Schemes mean anything.
They do.
For you see, on the first Minecraft world I ever beat the ender dragon on, in our house (this was the Parrot World), there was a painting above our brewing stand, the one of the two villagers.
Let's just say there was a brewing-based religion, and the animals were the prophets.
Horses warn of the weather, parrots warn of the mobs, and dogs warn of the enemies.
