Brennans immediate attitude switch and lock in at the words “you have the most points” made me laugh so fucking hard
Every time the crew of On A Bus finds a shred of story coherence they all start applauding and patting each other on the back and then Katie pulls out a bazooka and nukes it

Hey friends!
Just wanted to thank everyone for being so lovely and supportive of D20: On a Bus!
It was a bit of a rocky shoot, but I’m really proud of the story we told! I’ve wanted to play with Jasmine, Brennan and Mark for SO LONG and it’s so lovely that I got to do so at Katie’s table. 💖
So here’s the thing: the first season (30 episodes! Can you believe it?!) is in the can, but speaking for myself I *know* the story of my character Bluey™️ and their friends getting from NoHo to LAX is far from over. And that’s where you come in:
If y’all help us prove to Sam that there’s audience excitement for the sequel, we can start filming TODAY.
So please like, share, repost, and tell your friends so we can get back ON A BUS!

Cloudward Ho talk- I think Tabira City is one of my new favourite fantasy cities because it truly has a fully different system of functioning that isn't just a rule that you can Tell newcomers- it has to come with an entirely new way of thinking.
Our heroes got to the city, asked all the adventurer questions of what is that, what is this, but still don't quite understand the currency. It isn't just going from dollars to euros, it's good faith bartering, elements of socialism, community outreach. And with the attitude they have from Gath it's confusing cause they KNOW that wouldn't work in Gath with the way people are- the system works because everyone in Tabira has a completely different approach to life. A completely different approach to strangers and possessions.
And we see if you can't adapt to that you will end up a baboon in the square begging for noodles.
I like when a sci-fi/fantasy place isn't just "what if we tried out london but a different skin" the foundations this place was made on is completely different to the cities in Gath.
It's good world building cause it asks the question: What would a city look like if it was made up of only lost people and lost things who were just suddenly and violently cut off from their world?
Expertise and Skill become the common basis for trade, because it's the only thing people can reliably bring with them. Being kind to people who have nothing becomes a lot more common because that was Just You. That has happened to people you know, you know what that feeling is. The food and style is diverse, the technological and cultural advancements are probably supercharged because of the meshing of different perspectives.
And letting that develop for generations you get a place like Tabira!
THAT'S what I like in a fantasy city, not somewhere you can learn the 10 different rules they have and then go about your merry way- I think you would have to spend years in Tabira to really master the city. It challenges the heroes to expand themselves.
What if I put you in a fantasy market and the one catch is you have to have empathy and manners and if you don't you will fail. That rules man idk what to say
They should invent a way to sit hunched over doing crafts that is Good for your body
The Australian Ballet is doing Alice in Wonderland again and on one hand I’ve seen it before, and on the other, their Queen of Hearts has my favourite costume in anything every
It’s just this and her court pushes her around the stage on wheels and every act it gets taller until she towers over everyone
Also in act 3 (I think) it swings open at the front and her husband is sitting inside reading a newspaper
I saw this again on Tuesday so here are some things I’d forgotten about:
This is the only Alice adaptation I’ve ever seen that doesn’t cut the caucus race
The mad hatter wears taps throughout and it’s so jarring and surprising it’s perfect
The executioner shadows almost everyone who dances with the Queen
Lewis Carroll is a character in the ballet and becomes the white rabbit who leads Alice into wonderland which is bad and wrong because Carroll is the dodo but does work very well
They started dropping rose petals from the ceiling onto the audience when Alice looked through the door to the garden and it was utterly magic
The Cheshire Cat is made of about 10 different puppets that dance around the stage
Which reminds me Alice is styled after Alice Liddell rather than the John Tenniel illustrations
I don’t think the king of hearts actually dances he just wanders around looking confused
here’s a video
more. (btw this is a parody/reference to the very famous “rose adagio” from sleeping beauty)
the Caterpillar is pretty neat too
(all of these videos are from the Royal Ballet’s productions in 2014 and 2017)
Finally an adaptation that makes feel like I’m going to have stroke, it’s perfect
This looks fucking bonkers, I love it.
Wow fascinating!
