reading the script for rent is very 😬 it’s been like five years since i wrote my undergrad thesis on it and i forgot like how biphobic they are to maureen like the characters and the script itself

the script is also transphobic to angel? some characters refer to her as she/her but in stage direction it’s he/him and with some characters it’s he/him? script is referring to angel as a drag queen but i’ve always understood her as a trans woman
