I'm a weirdo and I try to think I don't draw lines too fast but I hate irl person fanfics. I think it's weird and this is coming from someone who use to read them as a kid coz I was madly in love with Markiplier and convinced when I was older I could bag him
But like it's weird! It's a real person who has thoughts, feelings, a life. And you're giving them headcanons or writing porn about them. Did they consent to that? Did they consent to you making pornographic media of them?
I think it's even weirder when people do it about dead celebrities. Since the Michael Jackson movie I've seen a flurry of MK fanfics like...why?! Why!

Fictional characters I feel like are free play because they aren't real. Sure they can be played by real people but the character itself is what you're writing about.
I think there is a genuine debate about the ethics of these kind of fanfics or shipping. I get it, most people are probably doing it in a harmless way and it's just having a crush on a celebrity - I get it. I think about Charming my fav celeb but I feel like there is a line crossed when it goes past basic admiration and stuff in your head or things you discuss with your friends, when you start making ship art or videos or fanfics.

Ik undertale and deltarune are their own thing but I always found it sweet that Asriel was always more easily frightened and yet loved Chara's "creepy" face. Kris is pretty creepy themselves and I feel like he'd love that too. Would run from a horror movie but never from the scary looking weirdos he loves

I Think the biggest improvement from undertale is that everyone drew God of hyperdeath and any adult Azzy skinny and very Tumblr sexy man-esk in the classic sense. He was edgy and slender and all sharp angles which I do get especially for Hyperdeath but his sprite doesn't imply he's skinny and I always found it odd they're draw Asgore and toriel with chunkier frames but never Asriel
Anyway. Im so glad we are in a fat enthusiasm era. It's so cute seeing him look like his parents. Idk maybe I just find it sweet when sons look more like their moms

Ever since I saw someone say "is it declining or is it becoming realistic?" For so many years women (historically, obviously we know more than just women can get pregnant but for the sake of this specific topic I'll only be referring to women) have been forced to have babies - multiple infact. Sometimes a big family can be a cultural thing and can be a sign of prosperity, like the post is saying "make children worth having" I'm sure if the world was alot nicer, kinder and actually liveable there would probably be big spikes in how many children people have for some families. But generally, alot of big families have been the result of marital rape. Husband's not taking their wives no or her declining health for an answer and making her become a baby popping machine.
Whilst I will recognize women are not fully liberated all over the globe and there's a lot of bans in different countries that are taking away women's choices. But compared to how things are, it's also ironically the most free women have been (in a way and does depend on where you are) more women are being encouraged to say no. The whole male loneliness epidemic. Women are becoming comfortable becoming the "crazy cat lady" if it means they'll never be in a relationship with an abusive or Mediocre partner.
The decline is not only a It's a sign of freedom of a woman's body but also a restriction. Less women want to get pregnant because of health issues, they can't abort if they change their minds or need to - depending on where you are and some laws even if is needed and doctors are advising for a woman's ability to live they can still get punished for it - the economy is fucking atrocious! No one can afford to live generally, let along have enough resources for a baby.
And so, there's also the decline because of a lack of freedom. It's a weird thing.
I think what birthrates are now are closer to a realistic view of how birthrates would be in a better society. Maybe if the ideal world it would be less or maybe even more.
So many capitalists run off the notion that we need people having babies to keep the money flowing well now we are no longer in an age of regular capitalism. We are past it. Which means we will need a new way of society anyway because trickle economics and other designs are no longer working because no one can afford or willing to have children to keep the system turning.
